No wiring, no faff—just works. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very good, but a little fragile *by M***C on 17 December 2014* I have had three of these. They are great and do the job well when they are working. The only problem I have found is that they are a little too delicate electronically and are vulnerable to electrical surges. The first unit I received was faulty on arrival and was kindly replaced by the seller. That second unit was working well until, by mistake, I momentarily plugged a laptop into the 4-way socket board which I only intended to be powering a couple of room lights from. After this, it would only reach about half brightness. I then ordered a third unit which worked fine for about 12 months until one of the two bulbs it was powering blew. This damaged the dimmer switch and it died completely. I would give these dimmer switches 5 stars if they had some sort of self-resetting overload protection built into them, but as they stand, they are very good, but a little fragile. P.S.
