Every time I buy it I'm amazed by how effective it is, then when I run out I convince myself I can find a cheaper oil elsewhere that'll do the same thing. I then cycle through dozens of products until I eventually find my way back to Moroccanoil, and then I repeat the process. I hereby declare that I will never turn my back on Moroccanoil ever again. I have very thick, coarse, low-porosity 2C/3A hair that has always felt like it's just destined to be dry as hell. I've honestly tried everything. I recently spent £60 on some products that were advertised to me on instagram and I was once again hugely disappointed by the results. Mousse, gel, cream, oil, leave-in conditioner, foam, spray, I've tried everything from drugstore brands to high end and nothing has worked for me the way Moroccanoil does. Yesterday I combined it with some Cantu coconut curling cream, diffuse dried, slept in a satin bonnet, and this morning my curls are defined, my hair is soft, and it looks so healthy. I'll never be frizz-free, I think I have to just accept that, but this is the best my hair has ever looked or felt. With the products I've been cycling through the past few months, I've needed to wash or refresh my hair at least every 2 days because it gets fluffy and dry, but with Moroccanoil my hair lasts for DAYS which is such a relief and ultimately so much better for my hair health.
