This product is the best of both worlds - it protects the mattress from unwanted spills and leaks as well as having a built-in top sheet of the softest, brushed cotton. Thus saving money on having to buy two separate products. Better still, it fits perfectly and snugly on the bed with deep netted sides that cling onto the sides of the mattress holding it in place.The product can be machine washed and put in the tumble dryer so it doesn't need any special care if your child wets their bed.Another wonderful feature of this ultra-comfortable, discreet mattress protector is that it doesn't make the terrible noise that other products do, nor does it have that awful smell of PVC or plastic. Major plus points.Indeed, I have noticed that our child hasn't been so wheezy or snuffly since using it which I put down to the polyurethane layer preventing dust and another allergens through to the sleeper.Earlier, I said discreet, well because no-one would know that there is a special layer to it, you could use it in a guest room to protect against unwanted accidents or use it with your child until they grow out of their bed-wetting years.I like the idea of protecting the mattress and the sleeper, independently, of each other. There is no rustling or crinkling noises when my daughter moves in bed and it fits her bed perfectly. It does have mesh fabric style sides and so you have to be careful when pulling it off that you do it gently so you don't rip the fabric but we have another protector sheet from different brand that's the same and already were familiar with this style.t is comfortable, soft, perfect fit, well made and finished and does exactly what it is supposed to do .Perfect. Doesn't make noise when laid on, washes well and is easy on & off bed.
