Awful... can't cut through a single piece of paper or card. It catches on one side which then wedges in the mechanism and then won't release.

this cuts very well and the locking feature is great for storage. this is my second EK success cutter and would recommend this product. i've cut up to 350 gsm and it works fine. let's hope it stays sharp for a long time until i can afford a cricut!

Great product. Only wish they posted to Ireland and saved me having to have it sent it to relatives to send on to me.

It broke after using it for a month so be careful in using it. Edit: Replacement has been going strong for over a year. I’d not load more than 1 chemex sheet at a time and you’re good.

As a fellow online seller I really don't like leaving negative reviews, but sadly I'm quite disappointed with my purchase - whilst I love some aspects of it (such as being able to see where the cut out is being taken on the underside of the punch which is VERY handy), the cuts started to get less crisp pretty quickly, after ca. 10-15 cut outs of medium weight watercolour paper and about 10 cuts of light weight Kraft card stock. I tried cutting aluminium paper to re-sharpen the edges which another reviewer mentioned, but sadly this didn't do anything for me, perhaps I didn't do it right..? I'll keep using the punch, but I expect I will have to use scissors soon to tidy up the edges. P.s. I bought three different sizes of these round cutters and the two larger ones have gone the same way, whereas the smallest one is hanging in there for the time being..

Am finding EKSuccess punches better than any large plastic variety as, with the ability to close and lock, they are easy to store, taking up less space.

I have a lot of pour over coffee filters yet I’ve been drinking mainly espresso lately. So I decided to start using them for espresso. This paper punch works just fine cutting the right size. I use mostly 14-16 IMS competition basket or sometimes 16-20. If you put the paper in your portafilter and then you rinse it in your machine, the paper gets stuck to the bottom and the walls of the basket nicely. Then I just let it dry in the portafilter outside the machine while I grind my coffee and get ready. It works just fine this way. Just be careful, you don’t want to put your freshly ground coffee in a wet portafilter. And don’t worry that your portafilter loses a couple of degrees during the filter drying. ;)

I purcahsed this after seeing a video from James Hoffman about coffee extraction. He used this 2 1/4 inch punch to make filters for a 58mm portafilter. I use Chemex Square paper (FS-100) then I punch out 16 filters. I have to put my plam on the 2 1/4 inch silver disk, rather than at the end of the punch, as you need a bit of force to cut through 4 pages of filter paper, its not too bad, but you do need to push with a bit of gusto, nothing crazy. You can turn the punch over to see how the filter paper is positioned before you punch, but if you push it right to the end, then it works fine. Works really well, fit is almost perfect for a 58mm basket. Thanks to JH!

Es una perforadora con una medida básica para las que nos dedicamos al craft, la calidad de la perforadora es excelente, la marca siempre lo es, lo probé en cartulina de 230 gramos y sin problema lo cortó, iré aumentando el gramaje para saber hasta dónde me permite cortar bien sin forzarla. Pero para lo que más la utilizaré es para cortar de forma rápida las etiquetas de mis productos.
