It works!
I was previously using a cheap one I bought on ebay which suddenly died, so I needed one in a hurry, this one is reasonably priced and came quickly to finish my project off.

They do the job and are nice and cheap.
I bought these for work as they are a lot cheaper that the ones that came with our development kit. These cost ยฃ30 and do the same job as the 'official' ones which are several hundred pounds, what is there not to like. We did have tpo make up connector cables to use these but then so do we if we use the official one.

Great!
Making this work with Xilinx software on Linux got me some headache, but I got it working eventually. Once set up, it worked perfectly. One of attached cables fitted perfectly to the ancient CPLD board I had to program. Very useful!

Caution; the included cables don't use the correct connector for a typical Xilinx JTAG header
These adapters don't ship with the correct cables for use with many Xilinx boards. The 2mm header is different. I can see why they've done it - the correct 2mm header is comparatively expensive - but without this you'll have to butcher the headers on some boards to be able to use the included cables, or face delay to get a correct connector.

Does what it says on the label!
Works well, comes with a variety of adaptors. Only niggle, in part due to the Xilinx software, I had to re-install the ISE webpack in Win64 mode to get it to be detected by Impact. Once I had done this, it worked fine.

Works just like the offiicial cable
Although this is not the official Xilinx platform cable it is significantly cheaper and I haven't had any problems with using it to program debug a board I have developed with an Artix-7 FPGA. Also it includes a very useful set of cables that cover almost all common JTAG header possibilities.

A plug and just play JTAG programmer
A neat JTAG programmer/debugger which just works out of the box. The various JTAG adapters are a big plus. Never had an issue with it, although my experience is still a bit limited.

Works as expected at a good price
Purchased this as a replacement and it arrived quickly and with all the normal connectors etc. and works well. Would recommend.

DLC9G oder DLC9LP?
Als ich mich (Neuling in Sachen XILINX-FPGAs) nach so einem Adapter umsah, bin ich auf 2 erschwingliche Modelle gestoรen: DLC9LP DLC9G Den DCL9LP bekommt man auf einer chinesischen Handelsplattform ab knapp 20 USD. Liest man allerdings in den Kรคuferbewertungen der vielen Anbieter, fรคllt auf, dass deren DCL9LP ein Digilent-Teil ist und dieser scheint nicht fรผr jeden Anwendungsfall geeignet zu sein. Nachstehend ein paar der dortigen Kรคufer-Rรผckmeldungen; zuerst quasi-positiv-Meldungen zum DLC9LP: "The cable identify as Diligent JTAG-HS2 not platform cable - but works fine so I'll close eye on this" "Looks like it is working, but the board contains only FT232H and some "dumb" ICs. No box." Dazu welche, die mit dem DLC9LP Probleme haben: "This is not Xilinx DLC9 circuit cable with CY7C68013A and XC2C256 shematic. Item is a cheap copy of Digilent HS cable uses FTDI FT232HL chipset (USB PID/VID - Digilent) and Digilnt software plug-in, it can't program and simulate in ISE Xilinx XC9500 and 9500XL series CPLD" "This is Digilent and not Xilinx platform cable. Not see the XC95xx series CPLD. Not good product." ... Mir war das doch etwas zu unsicher und ich habe mich zum teureren DLC9G von Waveshare entschieden, weil er nach meinen Recherchen offenbar das Nachfolgemodell zum DLC9LP ist und zudem laut Aufdruck am Gerรคt mit 0,07A weniger Strom benรถtigt als der DLC9LP, wo bis zu 0,15A angegeben ist. Wer mehr zum DLC9 wissen will: Im XILINX datasheet ds300.pdf mit Titel "DS300 (v3.3) June 25, 2014" ist u. a. ersichtlich, dass es sich beim LP um das รคltere Modell handelt (legacy): "Note: The DLC9G and legacy DLC9LP cable models draw less than 100 mA from the host USB port. The legacy DLC9 cable model requires 230 mA to operate in USB 2.0 Hi-Speed mode or 150 mA to operate in USB 2.0/1.1 full-speed mode. Some older root hubs or external bus-powered hubs might restrict devices to 100 mA. The legacy DLC9 cable model does not enumerate on hubs with the 100 mA restriction." Somit wรคre die Reihenfolge der Erscheinung: DLC9LP -> DLC9G (enthรคlt einen CPLD) -> DLC10 (enthรคlt Spartan 3 FPGA) (Quelle der Innereien: XILINX-Forum, "What's new with the HW-USB-II-G Platform Cable?") Es ist natรผrlich schon eine รberlegung wert, ob man besser den neueren DLC9G nimmt, oder ob der halb so teuere DLC9LP reicht, sofern man keine CPLDs (und evt. weitere nicht unterstรผtzte Chips?) nicht ansteuern mรถchte.

Great product!
Works like sharm, Vivado/Vitis on Win10 recognized it immediately with no set up required. And they have 2x7 0.1" cable which is what some boards like MyIR's have (instead of 2 mm pitch Xilinx standard).

Worked for updating Carby firmware
I got this mainly so I could update the firmware for my Carby (a GameCube A/V Adapter). After receiving this programmer though, I realized I needed some additional cables for this to work, so I ordered these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07GJJRH3M After that, I installed the Xilinx Platform Studio on my Windows 10 machine and was able to successfully flash the latest firmware. This was my first time doing something like this, and I didn't even know what JTAG was before, but everything was pretty straightforward once I had all the tools.
