Feet articulate well fitting on the edge of the wheel arch was no problem. Quick to adjust. Seconds to apply pressure. Works perfectly. I used it where there were no luggage anchors to strap onto to stop the dog crate and tools sliding around and making noise/damage. Great solution. Like a mini crow. Strong, stiff. Enamelled finish. Quality kit.

**Q: The description says adjusts from 40" to 70".  But dimensions say it's 29.5.  How long is this bar when fully collapsed?**
A: The ratchet can be adjusted from 45" to 70".  Fully collapsed is 39".  Hope this helps. Bert CampRigid Hitch Amazon Sales

**Q: How sturdy can this be with an item weight of 8 ounces? I'm**
A: It is more to hold items in place in the back of the truck. Although, I use it all the time to hold coolers in place weighing 25-30 pounds each. It will hold them in place without any problems. Also secured lawnmower in place.  It is one of the most useful tools that I use in the truck.

**Q: What doyou think about the cargo net for holdinf capacity and strength**
A: The cargo net is okay for small items, but I don't think I'd put anything very heavy in there. However, having said that I haven't had any breaks in the netting, or had anything fall out, and I have put grocery items such as two litre drinks in there.

**Q: Will this work in the walls of a teardrop trailer? Or will it damage the interior?**

Does exactly what it is supposed to and it's good quality. Sometimes hard to set to the exact length because of the ratchets. I still recommend and trust it.
