The clever two-way talk back feature and 300 m long distance range enables you to soothe your baby from the baby monitor even when you’re in another room. Check baby’s room temperature on the easy-to-read LCD display. You can’t be with your little one every moment, but this comes a close second. Does the monitor require a Wi-Fi connection. No, the Tommee Tippee digital video, movement and sound monitor does not require a Wi-Fi signal to work. The parent and baby unit should be synced once both units are switched on and connected. Easy step by step instructions of how to do this are included in the manual. Can you adjust the sensor pad sensitivity. Yes, the sensitivity of the pad can be adjusted on the back of the baby unit. It has a high, medium and low sensitivity levels suitable for different mattress thicknesses. It is advised that you test which sensitivity level you require when you first use the monitor to prevent false alarms. Please refer to your manual for full instructions. How much charge does the parent unit have. The monitor should last for up to 8-hours. Charge the unit from the mains power for at least 10-hours before your first use. If you don’t do this, then the charge may not last as long. Where should I place my baby unit. The baby unit should be placed 1 to 1.5 m away from the baby’s cot on a flat surface or on the tripod . Do not place the baby unit in the cot. When disconnecting the baby unit from the mains please do so gently. Do not pull on the wire to disconnect as this will damage the wire.
