Easy Reader Women's 25 mm Leather Strap Date Window Watch

I ordered this last night and it’s on my wrist 18 hours later. My old watch broke and I needed a replacement that’s small yet easy to read and functional for everyday use. This fits the bill - it’s rather cute especially with the light for night time reading. Came new in presentation box with plastic covering over face. I read all the reviews and wasn’t put off by all the moaning about the strap - glad I didn’t take any notice as the strap is just fine. I have a small wrist and it fits perfectly and any excess can be tucked into the 2 cuffs on the strap. Yes the leather is slightly hard but no more than you’d expect in any new strap and it will soften with wear. Straps are easy and very cheap to replace - it’s all about the time piece and Timex are renowned for their accuracy. Can’t comment on battery life yet. I’m really pleased with my new watch and it was a bargain at this price (£32)

Bought this to replace one like this -except the one I had before didn't have the date. And honestly as other reviews have said the date is so small it is more or less useless - I would just get the one without the date in future. But the watch itself is great - really easy to read etc -the light up function is useful, a really practical watch and I am hoping it lasts as well as the one it replaced, which I'd had for about 10 yrs. I wear a watch all the time - I sleep, swim, go to the beach, shower, do housework and DIY in one - when I am not wearing one I realise how often I glance at my bare wrist (I have ADHD and I think it is a habit I have developed to not lose track of time). My previous one had several replacement batteries and straps but the watch itself was fine - barely scratched etc...and like I said it gets some abuse - think being on an arm scrabbling around under floorboards etc...or lifting bricks...etc. I used to have to replace watches every 3 or 4 yrs before I bought it. I had the battery and strap replaced at a local market stall - so it wasn't expensive (less than a £5). I recently replaced the leather strap with a plastic one (swatch like) as the biggest problem I had was the straps breaking...I think from constantly getting wet etc - every year or so. The only 'problem' with it was why I needed a new one ...it needed a new battery - and like I said I am lost without a watch. I couldn't get to the market for a new battery for a week or so, I used to borrow my daughter's watch but she has lost it - so I decided it would be quicker to replace the battery myself. The back was a nightmare to get off but even worse I couldn't get it back on - I ended up with a cloth and pliers and cracked the glass....water could get in, it started misting up and then started stopping.... I found online there are ways of putting the back on using bottle tops etc - but I would suggest you get the battery replaced somewhere professionally....

Perfect size watch for my small wrist, delighted I have had no allergic reaction to the metals. It is easy to read at a quick glance, (without my glasses) during the day and night, with its subtle indiglo blue light, that is nt too bright. Bonus is that it looks on trend, with its white face and REAL! leather black strap. Very happy with my purchase Quick update , leather strap is leather upper , so having only worn the watch a few weeks, the very nice strap cracked on the inside in several places, thus making it very uncomfortable to wear. After 8 weeks the strap became so fragile it detached from the watch face, therefore had to replace it with a real leather strap. Still happy with the actual watch itself

I just wanted a simple wrist watch to tell the time, with a clear, easy to read face. This watch was perfect for me, Nothing fancy and a reasonable price, I use the night light feature a lot! The watch arrived quickly and was well packaged.

A very neat classical style watch face which appears to be working well. However, after only four months the watch strap has cracked in two places and will shortly break. I do not think this strap is made of leather.

I love the classic understated elegance of this watch. The brown strap, cream face and easy read numbers just make me feel happy every time I look at them. It's so liberating not having to keep pulling my phone out to see the time because that inevitably used to lead to doom-scrolling. The biggest problem with this watch is that although it is advertised as "easy read", that only applies to the clock numbers. The date number is one third the size and impossible for my eyes. I was torn between keeping and returning the watch for this reason but in the end I've kept it because I love the night light. This is a rare feature and once you've experienced it, it'll be hard to go to a watch that doesn't have it. Also, the strap keeps turning on my wrist. I think it's because the holes are slightly out for me. The one I use is too loose but the next one is too tight. That's not a watch fault though so I'm only mentioning it for awareness. All in all I adore this watch. 4 stars because it was sheer laziness for them to make the date numbers so small. There's plenty of space to have made the date cut out to hold bigger numbers. So the date is unusable for me but the rest of the watch is perfect. PS: I brought from here because Amazon give a two year warranty for this watch. Timex themselves only give one year.

Je l'ai achetée pour remplacer celle de ma mère, 90 ans, cassée. Son esthétisme et sa lecture aisée grâce au rétroéclairage du cadran lui ont énormément plu. Je la recommande vivement pour les personnes qui ont besoin de cadran clair et facile à lire.
