Silverline LED Clip-On Lights Set 2pce (752082)

Just what I needed! The package contains two lights as described (one white for the front and one red for the rear). They include all required batteries. The lights are very small and lightweight and can easily be carried around in a coat pocket. However, they are surprisingly bright and will certainly allow you to be seen by cars and pedestrians in a city at night. Each light contains two LEDs. The straps are flexible and so these can be attached to virtually anything with a diameter of 2-3cm or less. The strap has a good grip so it can be set at any angle. I put them onto the handlebar and one of the rear bars going to the rear wheel on my bike. The lights have already survived many rides in the rain without issue so they are reasonably water-resistant. They are operated by a single button on the top, underneath the rubber shell (i.e. water resistant). This is very convenient to operate, even while riding but you won't accidentally turn them on if they're in your pocket. They also appear to be vibration-proof (I've had other lights where the vibration of the ride makes the batteries loose contact periodically). They have three modes of operation: 1) constant on; 2) fast flashing; 3) slow flashing, all of which are sufficient to make you seen at night. Since these are very small lights, I don't think they will be suitable for riding at night in unlit areas. For that you will want a much larger and more powerful light. But for riding in the city with some street lights etc., these are perfect!

If you can find fault with these lights for what they cost then you must have expectations way higher than your budget! They come with batteries, are pretty bright for their size and are durable enough to last all winter. I have used these 5 days a week to work and back during this winter's dark mornings and early evenings and they are still going. I use it on the slowest flash which is still easily quick enough to be really noticeable. Some reviews have said that they let in water in heavy rain so as a precaution I smeared some grease into the flexible areas around the battery compartment and the light lens and then cleaned off any excess with kitchen paper before fitting to the bike. I have had no problems and I have cycled in some shocking weather. I would recommend these lights all day long and are probably better than more expensive ones I have had in the past.

These are great little lights for the price. They have a very flexible rubber coating so I can see them attaching easily to any bike frame. For this price though, you can't expect them to be completely waterproof. I keep my bike outside all the time and have only had one light malfunction in the six months I've owned them, which for the price is more than reasonable. I was expecting this and bought a spare pair so quickly swapped the broken one. Even when buying two pairs, these lights are cheaper than all LED lights found in most bike shops and do the job just as well. They are bright enough to be spotted easily and have a few different light patterns.

Well, what I'm using this for may sound a bit odd but please read on. I frequently walk my dog down the quiet country lanes near our home and as you can imagine they are narrow, dark and have no pavement. So I had the idea of clipping the red light to the dogs lead for a great rear facing warning light and the white light clips directly onto my finger giving a fast acting and highly directional front light which still leaves my hands free for picking up those blooming number 2s! Obviously, these little lights aren't super powerful but they do a perfect job of making drivers aware that we are there from a reasonable distance, giving both us and them enough time to react. I've been using these lights for this purpose for the last 4 months and the original batteries as supplied are still going strong! For the small cost I'm extremely happy with the lights and have since ordered a second set to put directly on my dogs harness for that extra bit of light on these dark winter mornings. Edit: I normally wear the white light the other way round on my finger so I can turn it on and off with my thumb, but to make the fitting clear in the picture I put it on this way round.

We received the lights pretty quickly and they are ready to be used right away. However one of the lights we received was already on (how long it had been on for we have no idea) but as a result the light now doesn't work. Also another one of the lights is a little faulty turning off as it pleases. The lights that work are good, they are bright and do the job to be seen when cycling at night. They also have three settings, still light, fast flashing and slow flashing. They are small and compact so don't take up any room in a bag, which is handy if like us you generally need a lot of room in your bag. I would recommend these but beware of the faulty lights!

Absolutely not waterproof at all. I got 4 and a first one went after first rain. Two others after a second ride in the rain next day. They all got wet inside and rusty within hours of exposure. When water gets in it causes a short so you cannot switch them off. Left a bike covered overnight with lights off just to find them on and rusty next morning, as said before water got in and caused a short. Initially very bright so was quite happy to have them as a back up, but they dim quite quickly and do not last long due to moisture and water getting in. The main compartment containing electronics is very badly fitted inside the rubber casing so any slight move or stretch causes moisture to get in. At best splash resistant. Cheap electronics rusts within hours of rain. Left last one out of 4 under a saddle but do not expect it to last even protected from direct rain as just fixing it to a pole causes rubber casing to open up for moisture. First one lasted one ride in the rain, two others short circuit after a second ride in the rain, four one lasted a bit longer placed under a saddle but dimmed and rusted within days. Binned as impossible to clean and use again once wet and even when kept dry they eat batteries quickly and dim considerably.

I purchased the Silverline 752082 LED Clip-On Lights to use on my mobility scooter. I don't usually go out at night on it but thought that as dusk starts earlier now that I didn't want to get caught out without something for extra visibility during the late afternoon, early evenings. These are small, cute and perfect to pop on before going out! The lights have batteries included and worked straight away. There are 3 settings which activate when you press the top of the light once for each setting - on, flashing and off. Although the lights are small, they are quite bright - useful to pop in a coat pocket or handbag if you don't want to leave them on a bike or scooter until needed. The rubber holders are stretchy and fit quite tightly to my scooter front and back posts which can be a bit awkward if the posts are larger than standard bicycle size. The rubber surround looks waterproof although I have not had to test that yet and would not leave them on a bike or scooter that is kept outside but think they would cope ok with occassional rain. Very pleased!

Wendy - Purchased these for my Rollator as coming home on the bus in the dark at 4pm in the winter, very much needed when trying to cross the road, the cars can now see my flashing lights so allow me to cross. I purchased another set for my neighbours mother who also has a rolator.

Las compré pensando que tendría dos luces, una para el patinete de mi hijo y otra para la bicicleta, pero resulta que la blanca da luz blanca, pero la roja, da luz roja, es decir, me valdría para la parte de atrás de uno de los dos vehículos, pero no para alumbrar alante, que es lo que yo quería. De todos modos, están muy bien calidad-precio.
