Would this be useable/suitable for a 2.5 year old?

It’s a good starter toy. It is a really easy coding toy. We originally bought for our 5 year old but it was way too easy. His brother uses it now who is 2.5. Although he loves pressing the buttons to make the mouse move different ways and make squeak sounds he can’t do a full sequence by himself but it won’t be long. I recon age 3-3.5 and he’ll have it.

Does it come with the board or is this just the mouse?

Hi Lai, it's the mouse and activity cards only. I thought of it to be an addition to the 'Learning Resources Code & GoTM Robot Mouse Activity Set' which contains blue mouse, grid and tunnel pieces, maze walls and activity cards. (btw the purple mouse is called Jack while the blue one is Colby :).
