It can be used as a contact cement - apply to both sides, wait a few mins, then press together - or it can just be used wet, with a bit more setting time. I prefer to do that, because you get time to reposition things. The smell isn't unpleasant, and I think it's reasonably safe for kids to use, if that's an issue. It sets as a clear gum, not hard or brittle. You can generally get things you've glued with it apart again, if you really try. UHU POR is the must have product for repairing and building expanded foam RC airplanes - it cures fully in about 24 hours - but will make a strong bond when applied to both surfaces and allowed to dry for about 10 minutes before contact. Unlike epoxy or CA this glue retains some flexibility when dry and does not snap or crack when flying your RC plane. I have used it to repair wings and fuselages with no problem. The Sport Cub below was successfully repaired in 10 minutes - but I always wait a day before flying. It is designed to work as an impact adhesive, where you spread a thin layer onto each surface, let it dry a little, and then press the surfaces together to bond them. However, on porous surfaces that allow the solvent to evaporate I've also used it with success like a "normal" glue, where you put it on one surface and immediately push it down but get a little time to wiggle it into the exact position you need.I hope that helps !SeanSnM Stuff **Q: Is this glue suitable for ABS plastic?** A: You need a specialist primer, loctite do one or car accessory shops for plastic bumpers. Always test it on a scrap piece(s) first though to check! The glue that's seeped out is still tacky-ish 24hrs later. I don't wish it to stick to the game. Ideas?** A: Uhu pore is used to stick foam together. You put some on both sides of the foam to be glued, leave for 15 to 20 minutes and stick together. Once done it still takes a few hours longer to fully set but is stuck enough to form a good seal.
