It doesn't need changed as often as other brands, as long as you scoop the box and top it up. It's very absorbent, odor limiting, a little dusty but not so bad, very fresh and it doesn't clump which is of paramount importance in regards to safety in case of ingestion. It's a great cat litter that's well worth the money and we go through around two bags per month with three large cats.
