This product is fantastic! I have been using it for my dogs since 2017 and really recommend it. Both my 2 dogs are so frightened of fireworks they used to bark and run around looking for somewhere to hide. It was horrible to see them suffer and feel there was nothing I could do to help. As we live close to a park every year there are fireworks going off. I felt I could not keep putting them though this and did not feel happy giving them drugs. I decided to try the Adaptil diffuser and found it was the answer to our prayers. No longer did he have panic attacks which lasted for hours. They were calm, relaxed and completely chilled out - so much so that they slept through several bonfire nights which sounded increasingly like war zones! I have also used Adaptil to help them settle in when there is music in the park that is very loud. I feel really sorry for the people and, of course, their dogs who don’t use this for their dogs as it has made a massive difference to my dogs' lives and therefore mine!

A few days after we brought home our 8 week old puppy our 12 year old dog started showing signs of anxiety due to his exuberant playing with our 9 year old dog. She would spend all day and evening in her crate and only come out for food and walks. We were devastated as she’s very playful with puppies out on our walks. We tried this product out of desperation and whilst it wasn’t an instant fix, a few days after plugging it in she is a lot less anxious and will spend time us in the same room as him. We are seeing little improvements day by day and this is all we could hope for. I’ve just purchased another couple for when this one runs out. It’s had zero effect on our turbo puppy but we’re very happy our 12 year old now feels able to spend time with us again as we were living separate lives in the same house.

Oh Amazon, this is the third order in a row when it either hasn't been delivered, so I have had to order again, or where it has arrived opened with broken seals. Not good enough. I'm fed up with having to contact Customer Services (always difficult) so I've just accepted it. I often board unknown dogs, so I use Adaptil plug in to calm them for the first few nights. It seems to work.

We are very big fans of Adaptil products and have used them for all of our dogs over the years. We keep the plugins going around times when fireworks and thunderstorms are likely. Our Greyhound was terrified of loud noises, and the Adaptil Plugin gives 30 days of relief and a great calming effect without creating a noticeable smell for humans. They are very easy to use as you just fit them into a conventional 3-pin plug and allow them to work until the unit needs a refill. They just look like an ordinary air freshener in the socket. We position ours near the dog's be,d which gives him maximum releif.

This product is brilliant for helping calm my dog, I've been using it for a few years now and although it's well worth it, the price has increased greatly in the last 12 months. My most recent purchase was for 2 of the refills and as it's not clearly stated, I ended up paying 2 lots of delivery charges and they were shipped separately even though I purchased them together only changing the quantity to 2. At the time, I had a few other items in my basket and you don't get a breakdown of what delivery is for what unless you go into each item separately and pick the delivery option and then work out how much extra or less the choice has made the delivery cost. For future reference an option for combined postage would be nice for customers.

Used after last bonfire night dog very distressed after very loud fireworks. Not cheap to buy but very effective as he now goes to his bed near the diffuser if he hears any loud noises.

Adaptil doesn’t seem to work for quite all dogs or all issues but, when it does work, it works really well. I first tried it years ago with a dog who was scared of fireworks, paired with the collar, but it did nothing. Fast forward a decade and my recently-adopted (and very neglected and unsocialised) greyhound girl started crying then barking from about 4.30-5am onwards, despite having the company of another hound and not needing to go out. With an Adaptil diffuser, she is much more settled and calm. Even when she does want attention (at something approaching a reasonable hour) the most she’ll do is a little whimper as opposed to yelping and scratching the door. I think it is one of those things you just have to try, thankfully not a hugely expensive one. It certainly has the ability to really calm an anxious dog and make life more pleasant for both dog and owner.

Je pars de la maison très tôt et je rentre tard. Les voisins me laissaient des mots me disant que mon chien gémissait de mon départ jusqu’à mon arrivée. J’ai usé de plusieurs stratagèmes dont cet adaptyl et depuis ça se passe très bien. Les voisins ne me laissent plus de mot. Il est beaucoup plus détendu.
