Living in Florida, sunscreen is something I use almost every day, and this one has been fantastic. It goes on smoothly, absorbs quickly, and doesn’t leave a heavy or greasy feeling. I like that it offers high SPF protection while still having the classic Hawaiian Tropic scent. It’s become my go-to sunscreen for beach days and outdoor activities.

I love how lightweight and comfortable this sunscreen feels on my skin. The appearance leaves a nice glow without looking greasy or heavy. The bottle size lasts a long time and it’s very easy to apply evenly. It also smells amazing compared to other sunscreens. Definitely worth the money and perfect for everyday use.

I've used plenty of high-SPF sunscreens over the years, and many of them tend to feel thick, greasy, or difficult to rub in completely. This Hawaiian Tropic Sheer Touch SPF 70 does a nice job avoiding those issues. It spreads easily, absorbs well, and doesn't leave behind the heavy, sticky feeling that some higher-protection formulas can have. The lotion has a pleasant scent that is noticeable without being overwhelming, and it leaves my skin feeling moisturized rather than dried out. I also appreciate that it's oxybenzone free, which is something I pay more attention to when choosing sun protection products. The bottle is a practical size for keeping in a beach bag, pool bag, or travel kit, and the cap feels secure enough to avoid accidental leaks. I stopped wearing American formula sunscreen on my face because it's just always thick and smelly and doesn't layer well under even light makeup. I despaired of finding something for my body, though, cuz I didn't want to pay through the nose for a larger bottle of Korean, European, etc sunscreen. I took a chance on Hawaiian Tropic Sheer Touch because of the reviews. I also buy cruelty-free whenever possible. Hawaiian Tropic falls in a grey area because, although it is certified by PETA (whose certification has its own problems, granted), it's parent company is not cruelty-free company-wide. But I do what I can... This stuff feels GREAT on my skin, more like just lotion than mucky sunscreen. Has a bit of a white cast at first, but once you rub it in well, it disappears. After it dries down in a few minutes, it feels like there's nothing on my skin; it's just nicely moisturized. I'm not a beach goer or amusement park goer or anything like that. I'm just in my 50s now and try to remember to use body sunscreen whenever I'm running errands for the day, walking one of my dogs, or know I'll be outside a lot. Because of that, I only got 30 SPF. However, the 50 and 70 SPF should have a similar texture, I would think. I only have two complaints about this product, which is why I gave it four stars instead of five. Firstly, while I really do like the coconuty Hawaiian Tropic scent, I don't always want to smell like that. I don't want my sunscreen to clash with whatever perfume I might wear. I don't necessarily want to smell like a tropical beach in the snows of February. I want to be able to wear sunscreen AND still hang out with friends who might be sensitive to smells. It's not super strong, but I wish they offered either an unscented version or a more neutral scent. Secondly, I hate the bottle. It's a pretty thin lotion, but while the bottle is designed to set upside down with the opening at the bottom, if you do that, it tends to squirt out as soon as you open it since it's so thin. Also it's kind of fragile. My cat knocked the bottle off the coffee table on to a hardwood floor and the tiny plug that goes into the dispensing hole snapped off and now I have to tape the cap shut. Also, the dispensing hole is nearly flush with the cap itself, so it makes kind of a smeary mess when you're trying to dispense it that dries and crusts 'til the next use. And finally, if you set it right side up so that the lid is at the top, the other end is flat-ish yet rounded enough that if you're not careful the bottle just falls over. Still, all in all a winner product that I'll be happy to repurchase if I don't find something comparable that's unscented.

Smells good, didn’t burn my eyes when I put it on my face, it has a pinkish glitter that’s super subtle in it, I didn’t notice until had been in the sun for 2 hours but I liked it. I used it and swam 765 yrds immediately after application and I didn’t get sunburned. It lasted exactly how long it says and was water resistant in my experience so I’ll repurchase.

I absolutely love this sunscreen! Im a black women with darker skin so its very hard to find sunscreen that doesnt make me a ghost and this one is so perfect. I tan super easy and dont want bad tan lines and this stops me from tanning when im just in regular clothes. This leaves my skin feeling super hydrated and it gives me such a beautiful glow im so obsessed i will NEVER use anything else. It smells ok, its not the typical sunscreen smell it has a slight fragrance to it. I have sensitive skin on my face and i use this on my face and i dont break out! Which never happens when i use a new product on my face, i typically break out. It goes on white but after rubbing it in after a few seconds it turns into this gorgeous golden glow.

Been using the tanning oil since I started suntanning. SPF 70 is wonderful for weather these days. Smells good n it doesn’t leave behind a sticky feel after application. Skin condition improves usage. Will definitely buy more for my whole family 👍
