The tube as well as the packaging box are white in colour..am afaid to use as its usually red??

5.0 is a dark brown and I use it all the time.

Which oxidant can I buy to mix with this as it doesn’t state what % is needed?

cream peroxide best to use 6% /20vol to just add colour with percentage of white hair or 9%/ 30vol to lift and add colour might be best if hair contains alot of stubborn white hair . you mix 1 part colour to 1.5 parts peroxide .( 50 ml tube plus 75 ml peroxide) You should always follow manafactures instructions, do a skin test before using 48 hrs , as professional product the consistancy is for professional use , to be applied by a professional person ,as hair needs to sectioned, and starting point determined for better coverage, Majirel does not spread the same as a box colour you get in the chemist. always use a shade lighter than you want easier to correct if you choose wrong shade !. Majirel is an amazing professional colour. This is my opionion, I hope that helps, best to go to the hairdressers to get amazing result.

Good coverage

I use this tint to cover my grey hair with 30 Vol peroxide - it does the job without leaving my hair dry. If you do not get 100% coverage your hair maybe resistant (which means the product can not get pass your cuticles) - therefore, but some peroxide onto the resistant areas of your hair, dry it in with a hair dryer, then mix the tint with further peroxide and add to your hair (regrowth) this should give you 100% coverage.
