Product Description
-------------------
To faithfully reproduce the original sound, the DCD-520AE is
endowed with a wide range of audio technology that Denon has
developed and refined over the years. For a sound that surpasses
the quality expected in its class, Denon engineers have carefully
selected parts for the audio section, the power unit and other
areas on the basis of their contribution to high sound quality.
The patterns for the digital circuits have been specially
designed to provide maximum protection from unwanted radiation
and achieve low impedance. Denon engineers used rigorous
listening tests to select the DCD-520AE’s high-precision
32-bit/192 kHz D/A converter. This converter and the audio
circuit design that Denon has developed over many years
masterfully reproduces the delicate nuances of music in the audio
signal.
800x600 Troubleshooting tips 1.Having unpacked the CD player,
connect the supplied phono cable (red & white) to the outputs on
the player, and the other end into one of your amplifiers Line
inputs (normally these are called CD, Tuner, Aux, Tape – Do NOT
connect to an input marked Phono or Turntable). 2.Whichever the
name of the input you have used on the amplifier, you will need
to select this input using the source / input selection on your
amplifier. 3.If the amplifier you have is more complicated than a
standard integrated amplifier, i.e. it may be a receiver or a
surround receiver, there may be additional settings you need to
make in relation to input modes or assignment on the product.
4.For that we would advise to further refer to the user
documentation of the amplifier to ensure it is configured
correctly. 5.Once you have ensured this, or it does not require
further configuration, bring the DCD520AE out of standby, by
pressing the power button at the front. Insert a disc into the
product and begin playback and re-assess things with your
amplifier again. 6.If you still experience issues, if you connect
a different source device to the input on your amplifier that you
are using for the CD player, do you get any audio from the other
source device? If not then the problem would point towards a
problem or configuration issue with your amplifier receiver. 7.In
that instance, please make contact with the relevant technical
support team for that manufacturer to discuss the matter further.
