Unfortunately, the spray nozzle was defective; when I turned it to the on position, the iodine just started seeping out and the only way to stop it was to turn it off. I swapped the faulty one over and now have a fully functioning iodine spray. Can anyone clarify please? Many thanks** A: Hi there. I can only tell you how we use it on ourselves and our dogs. If any of us get a scrape or a graze (human or canine) we spray directly on the wound. If it's a deep cut we tend to spray the iodine on a swab of some kind and wipe the skin around and over the cut.Hope that helps **Q: What percentage of iodine is it? 1%?** A: This product is 3%.
