Very easy to install. It’s thoughtful that teflon tape is provided to help create a perfect seal but I found I didn’t need this. I purchased the filter due to it’s comprehensive 8 stage filtration system. I have quite sensitive skin and wanted to see if the chlorine removal would help. It works well and I’ve noticed my hair and skin feed do feel softer and less dry. Another effect from the shower filter is that there’s not the build up of lime scale as before, the shower head nozzles are completely clear and my glass shower panels hardly need clearing of water marks now. Overall very happy with this smart looking filter and will be recommending it to my friends and family.

I found this easy to install and of decent quality. I don't normally write reviews but I've been suffering with an itchy scalp and increasingly crappy hair for ages and this has most definitely and significantly helped. I don't have to use so much shampoo so my hair feels less clogged up and I go longer between washes, hair is 100% softer and smoother even without conditioner and my scalp is much less itchy.

Over the last few years I have suffered from noticeable hair loss/thinning, which I found very upsetting. I eventually visited my GP who referred me to a Gynaecology specialist thinking I may have PCOS. I also suffered many of the other symptoms however all tests were clear and no reason was offered. I’ve now had the shower filter installed for close to three weeks and can definitely see noticeable improvements to my hair as well as my skin. My hair is much more shinier and I have definitely noticed less fall out in the shower. I've also noticed that some small patches of eczema I have on my legs and torso have cleared much quicker. I didn’t realise how much chlorine and other contaminants were in the water. The filter must be removing all the chlorine as now when I use the other taps in the house I now notice that there is a strong smell of chlorine. After a lot of research on the various shower filters on the market and deciding which one to get, I’m so pleased I chose this one. Warning though - make sure to run the shower before the first use as the water does come out black until the filter is clear of the carbon residue.

It worked very well. But when the cartridge needs changing there is no way to find one without buying a whole set!! Useless now, I need to buy a different brand with cartridges that are actually available to buy.

Haven’t had a chance to use this yet - the filter was to wide to screw into my electric shower and too heavy to attach at the end of the shower hose : the shower head just dropped down under the weight. I’d strongly suggest anyone who wants to get this and attach it directly to your shower get an angled attachment so the filter isnt stuck against the wall, or get a really tiny shower head to counter balance it. The angled shower connector has work perfectly but cost another £15

This product is brilliant!! I live In a hard water, and when I visit my boyfriend who has a complete water softner system in his house the difference is amazing, but I didn't want to go to the expense of having a whole new softner added.So I decided to try this filter very easy to attach,my hair has been changed from being dry and frizzy to like walking out of a salon, is shinny and frizz free[ still use straightners but not as much] after the invention of straightners this is the best ever for my hair!! also skin a lot softer and clearer.if like me the shower head becomes too heavy and drops with the weight of the filter, simply just hold in place with a cable tie, a definite must buy and a much cheaper option!!

Makes a difference to the scale all over the shower/bath, also water does seem to be a bit softer. Needs replacing every 6-8 weeks as filter gets blocked up.

I'm very happy with this purchase. The filter is well made and installation was simple, everything I needed was in the box and it took, at most, 5 minutes. We got to keep our shower head which we all love as this installs between the shower pipe and the head. I felt a difference in the water the first time I used it just in the amount of shampoo I needed. I can already tell there is going to be a savings from that. I'm less itchy, which is great since I had been blaming our dogs for that turns out it was the water. Amazing what a simple thing like not being itchy can do to change your whole day. My wife has very long hair and she's already in love with this filter system. It takes her less time to rinse out all of the soap and she says her hair feels much nicer now and is much easier to brush out. Both of my girls love the thing too and it's only been installed for three days now. I'm really hopeful it will help with the orange staining that happens too, from what I have read it certainly should. I will update the review and let everyone know how that goes.. but considering the change in the way the water feels, how quickly soap lathers and rinses off I'm pretty sure this filter just fixed most of our problems.
