Hercules Stands GS402B Mini Guitar Stand

This product was recommended to me by a friend who has a whole stable of guitars. I was a little sceptical looking at it online and looked heavily at this that are taller and hold the guitar from its neck. However now that I have it, I love it! It's compact, easily folds up but when setup, is as sturdy as a rock. Supports the guitar perfectly and won't scratch the back of the neck as that is well padded. Note this is for electric guitars - I'm not sure the feet stick out enough for an acoustic. I will buy this again should I ever acquire another electric guitar. Would be great for travelling too.

A seriously heavy duty little guitar stand. Brilliant, and folds away into a cloth bag so it won`t damage anything while your gear is being carted around

We have four of these now (electric and acoustic versions) and use them as everyday guitar stands in our house, including for a full-scale electric bass. They are very sturdy and stable. The foam padding is good quality, high-density material which is in all the right places. The term "mini" doesn't really apply as these are perfectly adequate as guitar stands. There is no sense that anything has been compromised to make them smaller. Quite the opposite, their low centre of gravity I think makes them more effective. They hold guitars gently but securely. As a bonus they also fold up very small for transport (they come with a little bag for this, if you need it) and are perfect for gigging or for everyday use. I don't think these stands can be beaten for single-guitar use.

After messing up my bedroom wall and having my sibling knock my guitar over for years (and also buying a less disposable guitar), I finally decided to invest in a guitar stand. I have been using this stand for 3 years now. It's more or less all metal, and despite looking somewhat rickety is very stable. A lot of guitar stands are designed to take either electric or classical/acoustic; this model only takes electric, which has the advantage that the arms that support the guitar don't extend unnecessarily far. The stand folds quickly and easily and comes with a bag so you can carry it to rehearsals or performances. I've had no reliability issues. It may seem slightly pricey compared to it's more budget friendly competitors, but it's definitely worth putting a bit more money towards this quality product.

This is a very sturdy guitar stand it is made of a good steel has strong folding joints and great padding. I have 3 Hercules boom mic. stands and IMHO they are a quality product,go to manufacturer.

A sturdy, well designed and manufactured guitar stand. Handy bag included, probably worth the extra money compared to similar items (first stand I have owned.) My Stratocaster sits nicely on it. One star off as I expected the rear guitar support would be a bit taller. N.B. there are two versions of this stand, one for electric, the other for acoustic guitars -- make sure you order the right one for your guitar.
