Tower Deep Fill Sandwich Maker with Extra Deep and Easy to Clean Non-Stick Plates, Automatic Temperature Control, 900W, Silver and Black, T27013

We have recently had two sandwich makers go wrong... One a brevile where the lid just cracked on me when closing! My husband then bought a cheap version... Not one I would have chosen and it was awful... He then agreed with me how awful it was so I took the time and researched on Amazon. This one is fabulous... It is 900 watt compared to my precious 2 which were just 700 Watts! So it gets hotter and browna the bread really nicely! When it comes to cleaning it is so simple and and quick. I let it cool for a little while then wipe off the dried food with a kitchen towel before then using a damp cloth... No detergent. Be careful as it stays hot on the lid edges for quite a while... As i discovered 😊 This is also far better then some others in they you can use full size bread and put plenty of fillingbin... In fact, I find it browns the bread better when the bread is filled because it touches the plates more fully! I love the fact that Tower offer an extended free warranty... All you have to do is go to the Tower warranty register online and it takes seconds... They then send you an email to confirm the exte nded 2 years on top of the 12 month extended warranty. I did this also with my Tower iron... So straight forward. The price for this too is amazing... Especially because of the warranty but also how good it is. The actual thing feels so robust compared to others and it looks pleasing to the eye too. My daughter was really impressed with it when she stayed over a while, so much so that she asked me to order her one which was delivered today and she can't wait to use it. When I compare it to the last two I had and others when I researched, this one really stands out. I can't rate it high enough... Particularly when it costs so little. I think anyone would be impressed with this..

Love the - Tower T27021 4 Slice Deep Fill Sandwich Maker with Extra-Deep, Non-Stick Ceramic Coated plates - fits bread like Warburtons toasty, and many brown loaves as well like multi-seeded and lightly seeded brown bread perfectly. heats up and cooks fast and has deep filling. some reviews complaining about sticking to the plates, is user error, as you should butter both sides that touch the plates which prevents any sticking at all, and makes it effortless to clean. I loved the ceramic plates, heats up far better than the 3 in one types that have to sit on top of the heating eliment, so these work much better and faster, also non stick creates a great experience. enjoyed quite a few different toasties now, with four slices, great for two people I find, nothing leaked out the bread like melted cheese etc so far, unlike my old breville used to do regularly. genuinely can't fault it, fast delivery and really happy with the purchase.

Taking time out of my day to review stuff on Amazon isn't all that common for me, but the Tower T27021 has saved me so much time and money, and delivered so many good toasties, that I had to share my thoughts. Over this frosty winter period, sustenance plays a key factor in staying energised and powering through the cold. I thought a toastie maker would be a good addition to our otherwise appliance-less workplace. Without gas in our building, it appeared to be the best and easiest option to make some half decent grub. The microwave just doesn't cut it anymore. This has since proved to be one of the best value purchases I've ever made on Amazon. As advertised, the T27021 is a four-stack toastie machine that will essentially make 8 piping hot toastie halves, and it does the business so well. This rig has survived cheese, beans, hot dogs, chocolate, and most other things that you could wack into a toasted sandwich. They also describe it as easy clean, which I think is an understatement. A couple of quick wipes with some tissue paper when still warm, will remove most of the gubbins. Now onto the business end, the toasties not only come out delicious, but it cooks in a flash. Way quicker than the Breville VST041. It also toasts more evenly than the Breville, which produces better overall results. One last point.... If you can't find bread to fit the machine, that is NOT the fault of the machine, but your own shortcomings. It's nothing short of criminal to give this wonderful appliance anything short of a 5* review, especially if you can't find bread to fit it! As mentioned before by other reviewers with a bit more about them, the Warbies Toastie loaves are a perfect fit for the Tower. My personal favourite is the Warburtons Super Toastie loaf, which can be found in the green waxed packaging.

Arrived well packed and with simple, clear instructions. I purchased the Tower 4 sandwich model and am so glad that I did as toasted sandwiches are now everybody’s favourite snack ! Makes excellent “Toasties” for all the family and their various favourite fillings have, so far, turned out exactly as hoped. I can only but recommend this item if you are looking for a well made easy to use sandwich maker that will give many years service. Tower are a brand I have owned before and have always been very reliable and well made. No hesitation in giving this product five stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I use this to make toasted sandwiches. I don't bother with paninis or waffles so I won't comment about those. Firstly, manufacturers need to make their toasters and toasted sandwich makers to fit the most common shape of breads one will find in most supermarkets. Rectangular. Not square. I tried Tesco's wholemeal toastie loaf of bread, and that didn't fit the plates as well as I'd like. But then I tried Warburton's Toastie Bread, and they fit even worse. It's very rare to see perfectly square slices of bread where I live. This results in the sandwich not being sealed properly, resulting in a bit of filling spilling out. So I'm knocking a point off this toasted sandwich maker for the manufacturer being short sighted. They should make a rectangular version for those of us who can't find square loaves of bread in our supermarkets. It does cook quite evenly. I don't preheat. I butter the bread, put a slice buttered side down first, put the filling in, then place the other slice, buttered side up. Then I turn the machine on. If I preheat, it results in my sandwich being more toasted on one side than the other, or I get a horrid buttery mess on my plate. It cooks quite quickly, depending on how toasted you want your bread to be. There is a design flaw. The handles are right in front of where the heat comes out, and they are too close to the machine, making it hard to bring the two sides together without burning my fingers. I tried before turning the machine on, but the filling needs to melt a little before I can successfully latch the handles together. Instead, there needs to be a levered handle on top or something like that, imo. The handles and the latch are plastic, so they would be prone to breaking because you need quite a bit of strength to get the handles latched together. So, it's not as easy or as safe to use as it should be. The removable plates are easy to remove and they can be soaked. But they burn quite easily, so after the first soak and wash (and a light scrub with a Brillo pad), they're still slightly scorched. All in all, not a bad toasted sandwich maker for the price, but there's room for improvement even at this price point.

We have been using this every single day to make at least 4 toasties, since we got it in August. Yes the plates are designed for VERY large bread but I get around this by toasting my homemade GF sourdough toasties on just one half, ie makes 1 pocket instead of 2. See pic. I'm enjoying the fact that I'm cooking on a ceramic coating and not a plastic one. And if I need to I can order just new plates, not the whole machine which is such a waste. I've tried the waffle plates and found that I needed to put the waffles in the toaster afterwards to get them crispy - but the could be to do with my experimental GF recipe. I haven't tried the grill yet.
