Amazing - for mixed race hair, that is!
My daughter used to dread hair wash night and so did we, quite frankly! She's mixed race (half black African, half white British) and other natural/non-toxic shampoos I tried left her hair very tangled and matted. I balked at the price of this one - as it's far more expensive than anything I've ever used myself! - but it works like a dream. I always use it with the Rahua conditioner (the one that isn't volumising) and a Denman D90 tangle tamer brush which glides through her hair like a hot knife through butter. My previously sceptical husband now says he'll happily shell out for it so that we never have to go back to the way things were. It's equally brilliant on my 18-month-old's hair but interestingly does absolutely nothing for my natural African hair. It leaves it extremely dry and matted by contrast.

Worst I ever tried
I have all natural scandinavian hair that isn't like the typical scandinavian hair- thin, limp and blonde. No my hair is wavy, medium thick and dark to light blonde. I have super many hairs and it grows quick. This properties making my hair a naturally pretty hair when its not chemically treated or mistreated with hot tools. I have been using products from fushi.co.uk since spring last year and skipped all chemical products which has really helped my hair quality and my hair dresser alwas gives me good comments on this- even though they still want me to buy their toxic products. My bottle from fushi recently run out and since its a hassle to order from their webpage as I have to pay the taxes twice (on their webpage when checking out) even if I live in EU (sweden) and should not be affected by this, and there is never a free delivery option either.. I though.. I would try a new brand though a online shop that does not double tax and does deliver for free- which there is plenty of options for. I got this shampoo and the regular rahua conditioner. I used them for some days now and I find them like this:- drying- stiffens the hair like there is still product in even if its rinsed several minutes.- no real wow effect (shine is maybe 10 % compared to the fushi shampoo)- not as user friendly as the fushi shampoo- no really nice essential oils that blows your mind and makes you feel like a flower (like sandalwood and cinnamon and lime like fushi)- dry ends and fat at the roots.--Do not buy the pretty talk or words about rainforests or tribes creating the product. Its produced in New york and their is no certification that these tribes has fair working conditions or that the resource is not over used.I cant recommend this product at all. Do not buy. Even John master organics is better, fushi, gren people, akin etc ( And this said without commenting on the price that has gone up with 10 ยฃ for the same bottle since last year!)

Rahua shampoo for colour treated hair
Rahua Shampoo is great for coloured treated hair. My hair is fine and thin but I still find this shampoo really good. The only time that I find the shampoo is not quite as good is when my colour needs re-doing and when my hair, that I have straightened in a London hairdresser every three months, needs straightening. When my hair is coloured and straightened professionally this shampoo always leaves my hair shiny and voluminous.

Incredible - I can't believe how good this is!
I have very, very thick, coarse, curly hair that frizzes at the least provocation and I've spent my life (and a huge amount of cash!) looking for smoothing, shine-promoting hair products.I have tried high street brands, salon brands, obscure oil treatments, tablets that promise wonderful hair, scalp massage etc etc but I have never achieved dream hair.I soon realised that anything containing sulphates (SLS) as a cleaning ingredient should be struck off my list and I made the transition to only using all-natural, synthetic free products around 5 years ago. Rahua is free of SLS, PEGs, parabens, silicones and synthetic fragrance, so it was inevitable that I would end up trying it once I heard about it.I bought a small bottle of Rahua shampoo and conditioner to try because I was wary of paying out for full-sized bottles and I was immediately blown away. My hair has NEVER felt so soft or looked so shiny. EVER. The more you use this product, the better your hair looks and feels - after 4 weeks use my hairdresser asked me what on earth I had done to my hair because it felt, looked and behaved so much better. It is easier to style, feels like silken clouds bouncing on my shoulders and gives my hair the sleek glow I have always wanted.I have noticed that people with fine/straight hair do not seem as impressed with this product as those of us troubled with coarse, unruly, waves and curls - probably because their hair already feels nice and soft to the touch and needs less TLC!I definitely recommend this shampoo and conditioner to anyone with dry/damaged/frizzy/thick hair - although expensive, you do not need to use a lot to achieve superb results so one bottle lasts a fair while.Another plus is that you don't need to worry about that awful, chemical smell that "normal" high street shampoos have. I'll never look back!
