Only hard drives could be affected by it, and only if you took the driver out and ut it on top of the magnet. Not through the case and the enclosure. However, if you crank the sub up I'd be worried about the vibrations breaking something in the PC over time. I mean a hairline crack on the motherboard through mechanical fatigue or something. So n short, it's not the magnet, it's the wibrations that I'd be worried about. **Q: My son pluged into his mobile dj system didn't see mutch difference is he doing something wrong** A: I'm not really in to dj systems but does he have an amplifier?? Even though it says it's an active subwoofer, it only has a build in crossover so he must boost the sound with some kind of amplifier, unless the dj system is amplifying the sound.
