A little pricey for what it is. The wick is thinner and doesn’t seem quite right compared with the original and yet it works. No complaints so far.

I bought a couple of hand warmers last year, I play a lot of golf and so I thought the Zippo would be good to keep my hands warm during a cold game of golf. Wow! I was right, in fact at times it was too warm, when not in use I used to keep my hand warmer in my pocket but the heat was too much in a confined space. But d not let that put you off they are brilliant. Eventually I needed a replacement wick, but as you cannot buy the material I had to buy this product, It works well as one might expect, as its a direct replacement. The only down side is the cost, and the fact that you need to buy the metal grid along with the wick, so now I have a metal grid sat on a shelf which seems to be a waste.

Bought this as my original had started to fail. This worked straight out the packaging and is a great fit. Therefore, do recommend as a replacement for the original zippo hand warmer.

I've got a 6 hour Zippo hand warmer and a 12 hour Whitby hand warmer which I used last winter and have just bought a 12 hour Zippo hand warmer. One thing that I really noticed is that the Whitby burner gives off much more heat than the Zippo burner, and appears to burn longer. The Whitby burner is a direct fit on the 6 hour Zippo, but as I've just discovered does not fit on the 12 hour Zippo. The ends of the raised part where the filling port is, is different on the 6 and 12 hour Zippo. Why did they do that?! The Whitby burner is a loose fit on the 12 hour Zippo and easily falls off. Shame. Zippo replacement burner £5 Whitby Warmer replacement burner £8 For an extra £3 it is well worth buying the Whitby burner for your 6 hour Zippo as you'll get more heat for longer. Try it and you'll thank me later!

...würde auf keinen Ersatzbrenner anderer Hersteller zugreifen... lohnt der Ärger nicht... Was nützt die Hälfte des Preises, wenn die Ersatzprodukte bei konkretem Bedarf regelmäßig versagen und keine Wärme kommt, wenn man sie braucht? Das ist dann rausgeschmissenes Geld, am falschen Ende gespart und darf bei solchen Produkten im Einsatz nicht passieren... Kann das Original uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Let me be clear. It doesn't seem exactly the same as the original burner which comes with the Zippo Handwarmer. For the function part, right after the ignition, it doesn't burn as hot as the original burner immediately. But give it a few minutes then it WILL catch up. In fact, according to this heating delay, I would assume this replacement burner has a longer burning life compare to the original burner. Although, I can't say for sure about the longer burning life part, but I'm pretty sure this is an official replacement product from Zippo and it definitely DOES its job properly.

Questo bruciatore catalitico, se ben rodato e correttamente utilizzato, funziona per una stagione invernale (5 mesi, usato tutti i giorni) e forse anche per due.
