Biltong Boss - Garlic Cracked Black Pepper, 200g

OMG.. I've eaten a lot of biltong over the years but this was something else 👌🏻 Garlic pepper flavour was unbelievable. We will definitely be purchasing this again.

Disappointing compared with other makes I have had, There were many small pieces and it looked and felt as if not dried enough, a bit sticky feel. I could not detect any garlic flavour. Texture was very chewy which did make it last longer but this was because there was a lot of stringy which did not make it seem like high quality beef Not inedible I ate it all with some satisfaction but for me behind being the best, makers need to improve on its taste and texture.

Imagine jerky where someone's poured a cup of oil into the bag, left it to sit and then drained it... That's how insanely oily it is... Have I made a mistake and this is for dogs? I mean garlic is poisonous for dogs so I couldn't even give it to them... But man this was horrifically bad... categorically the worst jerky I've ever eaten and that includes the furry jerky you realise has turned bad... It's indescribably disgusting... Truly words cannot convey how many times I thought "it can't be that bad" and tried it again and again and each time been amazed at how much more dislikeable it was than the memory of the last time. Memories cannot form deep enough to truly credit how utterly bad this was...I don't know how a single person has eaten this and thought it ok... It's also really stringy and excessively fatty so not good quality... And it's soggy from oil... Your hand comes away slimey just from a tentative dip in the bag... I had it on my subscribe and save and if it were good, I'd have continued with it for years but my god when I say I didn't realise it was possible for jerky to be soooo bad, I truly mean it. Note to seller: please please please add flavourings directly instead of dowsing a finished product in flavoured (and badly) oil. I really am not exaggerating when I say it was utterly terrible.

BB consistently keeping their taste and quality of biltong at high standard. This alternate is garlic & cracked black pepper which is quite self explanatory and it works very well. Lots of meat content in these fresh packets means great for sharing or for many different mealtime occasion. This brand really is recommended very highly because always product is always at such great values. Thank you

This product tastes different to buying the same product direct from the market stall. I tried two flavours: the garlic & volcano. Both were just quite dry, and "stale". The volcano was much more vinegary than what you get from the stall. But the price was more competitive because it was on same so, on balance, I've given 3 stars.
