Works with most linux distros out of the box, Mint/studio/ubuntu. Bought this item to replace an older adptor, range is good and can see a lot more networks than I used to be able to. NOTE: This product is recommended in several guides for kali linux. It does work but you may need to use the aircrack drivers instead of the ones recommended online. it's easy enough to install with DKMS and afterwards this device functions properly. Packet injection works, monitor mode works. Airodump/wifite/kismet all function fine with this device. very nice adptor and at a good price. Would recommend.

Love this, it works really well compared to the other two I initially tried. Setup was quick, and it just does the job without any fuss. Glad I went with this in the end.

Works with out of box with kismet VM to analyse wifi traffic. One star off as couldn't see all packets between known nodes in network. This could be because it's listening in, so doesn't ask for re-transmits, or share perf info. When placed close to transmitter/receiver of traffic was much better. For sniffing wifi traffic, there may be better adapters out there, but this is still a reasonable product.

It works BUT for Linux users it’s not quite plug and play, I’m using Linux mint as the daily driver and Kali Linux on a vm, I had to do a bit of work, but hey the adapter now works like a dream. If you get stuck chatgpt will walk you through

I bought this for the packet injection mode (Linux, Kali) and to make sure that I don't suffer any WiFi dead spots. Not only can I sit at the end of my garden happily smurfing the interwebs while everyone else can't even get a sniff of a WiFi signal, I can see pretty much every other WiFi within 1km of where I'm sitting. If you need constant and healthy WiFi, this is exactly what you need. If you want to connect to WiFi that is well beyond the reach of any other device and require packet injection and monitor mode then you are very naughty and should also get this.

Monitor mode only seems to work on Linux. I have not been able to get it to work on a windows 11 pro pc in monitor mode

This device is commonly recommended on the best review sites. Best here meaning none sponsored and devices properly tested. It was easy to install and the construction is good. As is common the disc comes with very old drivers and the manufacturers website has broken links for updsates. Hopefully the latter will be repaired. Another upside is that this works on Linux. Overall I am pleased with its connectivity and operation which are very good indeed. Mine has to get through a brick wall and doge the plumbing and wiring and I am still getting very near a 100mb connection which is my max. It has a signal amplifier built in.

Ero un pò preoccupato sulla compatibilità. Dalle recensioni ho letto che qualcuno ha avuto problemi ad installarlo su Linux invece su Kali ci ho messo 5 minuti. Basta andare sul sito indicato e ti da il procedimento giusto per l'installazione corretta. Su Windows 10 è stato ancora più semplice ovviamente. Basta far partire il file eseguibile e funziona benissimo. Per lavoro comunque a me serve usarla su Kali e non mi ha dato nessun problema. Ho provato Wireshark, airodump... giusto per testare il prodotto e devo dire che fa il suo lavoro. Ovviamente non aspettatevi miracoli sul raggio di azione. A me da le stesse reti del router in dotazione ma ovviamente serve a tutt'altro. Se volete più raggio di azione conviene che andate su altre tipologie di dispositivi. Spero funzioni anche su Parrott Os. Vi farò sapere perchè non ho avuto tempo comunque rimane un prodotto di ottima fattura e qualità. Nella scatola c'è il gancio per attaccarlo al monitor, il cavetto di buona qualità e l'adattatore micro usb to usb. A proposito sarebbe meglio attaccarlo a prese usb 3 per sfruttare a pieno il dispositivo. Credo però funzioni anche con le prese più vecchie.

Magnífica antena usb. La uso en mi portatil con windows y en kali linux para hacer "auditorias internas" y tiene un alcance muy eficiente, aunque en este último, debes instalar los drivers correspondientes pero no tendrás problema en ello ya que están muy probados y en este chip funcionan de maravilla. Modo monitor sin pegas.
