Bought these to replace broken hinges on a utility trailer gate. I also wanted an option that would allow me to remove the gate when needed for hauling longer loads, and these worked out very well. Installation was straightforward for anyone set up to weld them on, and once installed they lined up nicely and operated smoothly. The removable pin style makes it much more convenient than standard fixed hinges when you need flexibility with trailer use. They feel heavy duty and sturdy once mounted, with plenty of strength for a trailer ramp/gate application. Most of the reviews I saw were for driveway or yard gates, but they also worked great for a utility trailer setup. Overall, these were a solid upgrade and exactly what I was looking for.

How does a manufacturer screw up something as simple as a hinge? I've used this type of hinge in the past (mind you - not hinges made by these guys). These things are typically machined to fit together as two parts with a snug fit. Not these hinges. To say that the fit is loose is an understatement. Who needs a hinge that rattles? Once they are fit into place, the gap between the two halves is big enough to throw a cat through. I've never seen shabbier workmanship. This order ships in pairs. Two hinges per order. The hinge requires a ball bearing to function correctly. The order I received came with one ball bearing ... not two. To that inconvience, the manufacturer wants a dollar for the privilege of returning a defective and incomplete order. I guess I've learned my lesson on this one.

I would like to return them. There is too much slack in the pins
