However, 1 battery had leaked and caused minor damage to battery contacts. The batteries were in series in a piece of equipment but one was left disconnected so there was no drain and the batteries were hardly used and at almost full charge. Kept in the house at room temperature. Purchased in 2021 and good to 05/2031. (Left) Bad/(right) good batteries side by side - -ve terminal tarnished and signs of leakage (difficult to photograph). +ve terminal has green corrosion around it. the 5 other batteries in the equipment appear to be OK ## Frequently Bought Together - GP Batteries AA batteries AA pack of 18 Ultra Alkaline disposable double aa batteries 1.5v 10 year shelf life for toys fairy lights camera household applications LR6 Basic AA Battery Amazon exclusive - Ultra Alkaline Triple A Batteries, Long Lasting Power - Ideal for Camera, Alarm & Industrial Use - 10-Year Shelf Life - 20 Pack by GP AAA Batteries --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.in/products/48533944-gp-aa-batteries-18-pack-1-5v-alkaline-double-10](https://www.desertcart.in/products/48533944-gp-aa-batteries-18-pack-1-5v-alkaline-double-10) --- *Product available on Desertcart India* *Store origin: IN* *Last updated: 2026-10-30*
