The tree wasn’t damaged at all & was potted up the next day. We got it just as we had the unseasonal cold weather & yet it is happy and budding and even has a few flowers so we may even get a few cherries in its first year! We are looking forward to trying the two different types of cherries from the one tree. Very happy. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Twin fruit tree *by R***T on 3 March 2024* I received a good size tree 1.5m. Started to produce leaves. Hopefully next spring it will give me some fruits ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Confusing tag about the species/cultivar *by S***W on 17 March 2022* The tag says Stella and Sunburst on the left (both sweet cherries) while the middle plant passport says both Prunus avium (sweet cherry) and Stella & Morella (one sweet cherry and one sour cherry) (sour cherry should be Prunus cerasus) at the same time. I find this very confusing.My garden is completely north facing and technically sweet cherries like warmth and sun and simply won’t work for my garden while sour cherries are the most renowned and satisfactory of all fruit trees for a north facing garden, so I thought I would give this half sweet half sour duo tree a try, which I would still have harvest on the sour side if the sweet side does not work out. It would ruin my plan if the duo are both sweet cherries which I may never get any harvest ever.The tree arrived a lot taller (it's almost as tall as my weeping Yoshino cherry that I have had for 4 years!), with green buds and a bigger root system than I expected, which I think is probably a good sign. A few twigs broke off during the shipping which is to be expected.Overall I'm satisfied with the tree condition but I'm not happy with the confusing tag about the species.
