Great Sound and Beautiful Design
I bought this during the Black Friday sale and got a really good deal. The cream color looks beautiful and works as a nice decoration in my living room. The Bluetooth connection is fast and reliable, and I haven't had any quality issues so far. The sound is great, and I like that you can adjust the bass and volume to your preference. It's powerful enough for a larger living room. The only thing to keep in mind is that the cream color can get dirty more easily, so it does need a little extra care.

Great Sound and Premium Build Quality
This speaker has been the perfect addition to my record player setup. I wanted something that delivered clean, detailed sound without taking up a ton of space, and the Acton III fits that role perfectly. It's more than loud enough to fill a small room, and the sound is crisp and clear. The bass is punchy without being overwhelming, and having dedicated bass and treble controls makes it easy to dial in the sound exactly how you like it. The AUX input was also a must for my setup, and it works flawlessly with my turntable. The build quality is outstanding. The metal knobs and toggle switch have a satisfying weight to them and make the speaker feel far more premium than most Bluetooth speakers I've used. If you're looking for a compact speaker with excellent sound and classic styling, this is an easy 5-star recommendation.

Amazing sound with real base!
I love the way the speaker looks, got the beige, goes great with my decor! Most importantly, I played it for hours once I received while I cleaned, did my laundry hung out in my balcony gardening and not one interrupted sound, adjusted the base and treble and what a joy. I have an open space of living room, dining room, kitchen and the door opened to balcony and the sound was everywhere. I did not have to install the app. Happy with this purchase.

Not cheap, but better than battery operated BT speakers.
NOT battery operated. Plug it into the wall. With that said, I have this on my desk at work and I can play it low enough that in my tiny office it doesn't make everyone hate me or my music choice. When I am alone in the office, it turns up nicely and sounds great! I haven't had it all the way turned up ... my office is small 12x12? ish , so it gets loud fast. It also looks great! I have a 2-screen set up, and this is under my right-hand screen, fits great there. It connects every time within 2-4 seconds and has worked without issue since I purchased it.

Pleasure to Use the Marshall Action III in the Kitchen
For about 6 years I had a Bluetooth speaker that produced loud, decent sound for listening to music and podcasts in the kitchen. However, a loud unpleasant voice, with volume on full blast, would come on when I synced it, “The Bluetooth device is ready to pair. The Bluetooth device has paired successfully.” You had to rush to lower the volume or the music would be on full blast as well. I finally decided to get an upgrade. I didn’t need portability. I wanted a luxury liner Bluetooth speaker that stays in one place. So after researching the Marshall Acton III and trying to decide on it and the Klipsch The One Plus Premium, I decided on the Marshall because its 10-inch wide footprint was two inches smaller than the Klipsch’s. Pairing the Marshall was easy with the app. The podcast voices sound loud and clear, with good balance, not too much bass like a lot of my Sangean radios. Music is full and balanced, not overpowering, but more than adequate for filling the kitchen. I place the Marshall on a cable box to protect it from water that might get on the kitchen counter. Overall, the Marshall looks good, has reasonable build quality, easy-to-use controls, and is a pleasure to use. I also have its big brother, the Stanmore III, in my bedroom, and they are so close in sound quality that I suspect most speaker buyers will be more than satisfied with the Acton III.

Highly recommend
I recently purchased the Marshall Acton III Bluetooth Speaker in Cream, and here’s my detailed review based on my experience: Design and Build Quality The Marshall Acton III immediately impresses with its classic, iconic design. The cream-colored finish gives it a modern yet vintage look that fits seamlessly into any home or office decor. The gold accents on the control knobs, speaker grill, and logo provide a nice contrast to the cream, adding a touch of elegance without being over-the-top. It feels like a high-quality product, and the solid construction reflects Marshall’s reputation for durable, premium audio gear. It’s compact but powerful, easily fitting on a shelf or tabletop without taking up too much space, yet still delivering rich, full sound. I also appreciate the rubber feet on the bottom that keep the speaker stable and prevent it from sliding around when adjusting the volume or playing music. Sound Quality The sound quality is definitely where the Marshall Acton III shines. Despite its relatively small size, this speaker offers excellent, balanced sound. I was particularly impressed with the bass—it’s deep and punchy without being overpowering, which is important for a small speaker like this. The mids are clear and articulate, making vocals and instrumentals sound natural, while the treble is crisp but not harsh. Whether I’m listening to rock, pop, or even classical music, the sound is always full, rich, and immersive. The stereo sound is impressive, and the speaker can fill a decent-sized room without losing clarity or becoming distorted, even at higher volumes. Low distortion and high volume capabilities make this speaker perfect for parties or gatherings, and I never feel like the audio breaks down under pressure. Bluetooth and Connectivity Setting up the Bluetooth connection was incredibly easy. I had it up and running within minutes, and the connection stays strong and stable even at a fair distance. The range is solid, and I didn’t experience any dropouts during usage. This is ideal if you’re moving around the room or want to control your music without being tethered to the speaker. You can also connect the speaker using a wired connection, thanks to the 3.5mm auxiliary input, which is great for those who want to connect devices without Bluetooth. Multi-device pairing is a feature that allows you to easily switch between devices, and the dedicated buttons for Bluetooth control are intuitive to use. Control and Functionality The top panel is equipped with a set of analog control knobs for volume, bass, and treble, which I really appreciate. These knobs give you precise control over the sound and let you customize the audio to your preference. The controls feel smooth and tactile, and they add a nice retro touch to the speaker. There’s also a power switch on the back, which is simple to use. It would be great to have a more intuitive way of turning it off (e.g., through the app), but it’s a minor issue considering the speaker’s other strengths. Battery Life The battery life isn’t relevant for this model, as it needs to be plugged in for use. However, that’s not a drawback at all, as this speaker is designed for stationary use, whether in your living room or on a desk. Its ability to connect to power without worrying about battery life is a plus for consistent, long-term listening. Price and Value The Marshall Acton III is certainly a premium speaker, so it’s priced higher than many other Bluetooth speakers on the market. That said, considering the build quality, sound performance, and the classic Marshall aesthetic, I feel like it offers great value for money. You’re paying for both the sound and the iconic design, which makes it a worthwhile investment for anyone who values both. Conclusion Overall, the Marshall Acton III Bluetooth Speaker in Cream is a stellar product. It offers an impressive sound quality, sleek design, and reliable Bluetooth connectivity. The analog controls give it a retro, tactile feel, while the solid construction ensures it’s built to last. It’s perfect for anyone who enjoys listening to high-quality audio in a compact, stylish package. If you’re someone who appreciates both form and function and is willing to invest a bit more for a speaker that’s both visually appealing and offers great sound, the Marshall Acton III is definitely worth considering. My only real issue with it is the lack of a built-in battery, but for home use, that’s not a huge dealbreaker. Highly recommended for those who want both performance and style in their audio setup!

expensive but worth the $
Great sound. Far superior to most all portable blue tooth speakers. fairly easy to use except for confusing pairing instructions and procedure. Great because u plug it in and don't have to worry about recharging.

Marshall ACT III
I purchased this for my 16' x 20' Lanai to go along with my 55" TV. It replaced a 20 year old receiver with two very old bookshelf speakers. It was worn out and the sound quality was gone. It only worked for radio. I like using my phone for YouTube music. The BT on the ACT III connects easily. You dont have to download the Marshall app to connect. The look and build is like their old school amplifiers. Quality build and looks great. The fine tuning knobs for treble and bass work great. You can hear the changes as you adjust them. Easy to tune. The highs are crisp and clear. The mids sound loud and clear with no distortion. The bass is there. It is more audible than feeling, but sounds great. If your looking for big bass you will need a receiver with a sub. The overall sound is excellent. It is very loud for such a small speaker. It is more than enough to fill my Lanai with awesome sound. I give it 5 stars. A lot of people review the ACT III and the Klipsch One Plus before purchasing. I have the Klipsch One Plus in my home office. It is equal in build quality and sound. You have to download the Klipsch app to adjust the treble and bass. No big deal. It connects easily. The Klipsch sounds virtually the same as the Marshall. Loud, clean, and no distortion. I give it 5 stars as well. I would purchase either one again.

Not the best one
Not the best speaker but works good enough with MacBook with auxiliary. Basses are not bad but sound quality almost good.

Ok, this thing? Just ... wow!
Like most of us, I've dabbled with battery-powered bluetooth speakers over the past decade or so. Of these, perhaps the *highest* rating I would give would be 3/5, and that only because of their portability. But recently with 25 of us in a room for a big screen Zoom call for a series of lectures, I needed a compact (low profile) speaker of more substance. THIS speaker has more substance--oh yeah. From the on switch that feels like you're powering up a 747 (a gold-plated version with an oak-trimmed captain's chair and sterling silver service), a quality AUX (input) connection (so I could use bluetooth for microphones), to the hefty dials, the subtle red lights, and the absolutely great looking case, this Marshall Acton III was the cream on the coffee for my AV setup. The sound was robust and very clear, carrying all through the 40x20 space. Mind you, the bass was heavy, but setting it to 1 while cranking the treble to 10 enabled it to broadcast even the quietest, 'mumblingest' person on Zoom very clearly. I bought a bright red 16ft audio cable that looked terrific plugged into the unit (red also makes for a good visual safety cue to prevent tripping over the cable). Now my bootooth (as typed) speakers are relegated to the drawer--this guy is going to remain front and centre. Strong recommend.
