Ideal to clear algae

I bought this for my pond, my dad having tried stuff for years said it would just be another waste of money, but it wasn't. I put half what I needed in my pond waited for my pond to clear back up only took a day or so, cleaned out my pump and filter and threw in the other half. At first it seemed as if nothing was really happening bits of the moss discoloured, but that was about it. But after a week the moss started to fall back in the shallow water around my plants, so I saw it was taking hold. It's now about 3 weeks in and the moss in the entire pond has heavily receded from the bottom of the pond up. The areas in more constant sunlight seem to have fell away the fastest, but as time has gone on more and more of the pond has cleared to now only a small amount left that is still degrading every day, from a heavily over grown pond that was causing problems with the fish getting snagged to barely nothing. Even my air stones don't seem to be growing moss now considering before the treatment they would be covered every couple of days. All my plants have survived and still seem to be thriving, my sturgeon and orfes are still swimming around happy, but then I do have air and water pumps The short version is I definitely would recommend this, I took a best guess on dose as it is a self built pond and had no adverse effects and killed off the moss so seems safe.

This is an excellent product. I have been using it for a number of years. It certainly keeps the blanket weed down and rids it completely when used properly.

Only product I will use cleared a green pond in a few days. Bit scary when you add the treatment water was a very green milky appearance. Left it 4 days and started to clear. Followed up with cloverleaf sludge buster treatment perfect clear water and no more green algae on the sides and bottom of the pond. Fish were fine (koi and goldfish). 2 weeks on and still improving and no return as yet of algae

This stuff is magical. I had a lot of string algea, because my pond gets direct sunlight all day long and is not shaded. I was tired of removing algae by hand on a daily bases. I tried adding benficial bacteria, and barley straw to my pond, but nothing was working. Didn't want to use harsh algaecides for fear of killing my koi. So after extensiv research on the Internet I found cloverleaf blanket answer. Watched the video and decided to give it a try. Since i am in the US and nobody carries it over here, I had to order it from Amazon UK. Thank you Amazon for international shipping! I dosed according to the instructions. Stuff turned my pond milky for about a day or so (not 5 as stated by coverleaf). After one week I still had lots of string algae. I was disappointed and thinking the treatment wasn't working i decided to apply another dose and wait it out this time. It took about 10 days to dissolve all string algae in my 1100 gallon pond. Did not bother the fish at all. It's been 3 weeks since the treatment and my water is crystal clear. I already reordered more and will not use anything else. Would like to see Cloverleaf making it available for purchase in the US.

I can't say for sure if it was this product but within 24 hours of putting this in the pond i lost my 5 golden orfe, i saw one dead then looked around and found another and over the next two days found the last three, it says you cannot overtreat so i cannot say it was that. All my goldfish,comets and Koi were fine and it did clear the pond but i don't think it agreed with the golden orfe, i also have some golden rudd,very similar to Orfe and they were fine.

Photo 1 le bassin avant traitement le 21 mai - bien envahi des algues filamenteuses Photo 2 Premier traitement le 21 mai. Aucun problème pour les poissons, les grenouilles et les têtards Photo 3 le bassin suite a une deuxième traitement (le 25 mai) et l'algue filamenteuse est disparu sauf quelque petits endroit mais je suis certaine qu'il va disparaître en quelque semaines. Ho provato tanti prodotti anti alghe prima di questo, ma non hanno mai funzionato veramente, questo rimane a parer mio il miglior alghicida sul mercato!!

This actually works very well, the pond did cloud up right away, it took about 2 1/2 days to clear up, but it cleared up the water. Would recommend this item for clearing up pond water algae

I have a small preformed plastic pond in Florida. A few years ago I stayed getting blanket algae. I have tried many products. I was able to reduce it with other products but it was never able to completely kill it, so it continued to build on the previous year's build up. Then I found until this product! Finally! It took 2 applications but it's finally all dead. I will need a muck removal because it left dead algae stuck on the sides and I'll probably get the Cloverleaf brand again because this one worked so well. I'm very relieved and will buy this product again if needed.

This product works fantastic for Blanket weed algae. It does not harm the other plants while killing off the algae. The water turns cloudy for a day but then clears up quickly. I also use the Sludge Answer product after the Blanket answer treatment to clear up the remains. I have Koi, Sarasa Goldfish, large pond snails, ramshell snails and bladder snails, frogs and dragon fly larvae. Both these products do not harm anything at all except the Blanket weed. A++
