Would I be able to see my live recording while using Audacity?** A: No, these units are analogue mixers, to record into the PC you'll need to send the outputs into a seperate audio interface (usb/FireWire/or even into your built in soundcard mic input). I think there is a UX (?) model of these mixers that do have built in interfaces but they're obviously a bit dearer and will only send the stereo output of all mixer inputs into the PC but that might suit your needs! **Q: Is this a suitable mixer for a small, computer based recording studio?** A: I bought this for my 14 year old sons small studio for live recording. It will unnecessarily distort, if you insert in 1-4, and use those knobs.
