Why did you choose this product over others?: I recently purchased a few TempoShade temporary blinds while waiting on our blinds2go blinds, and they’ve been a surprisingly solid solution for short-term privacy and light control. No tools needed. TempoShades come with an adhesive strip at the top — just cut the blind to size, peel, stick, and press. I had mine up on five windows in under 15 minutes. Perfect if you’re not handy or don’t want to drill into walls (especially in rentals or during renovations). Despite being made of paper, they look neat and uniform when installed. The prices is amazing for how good they are, they were a life saver for privacy and even though only being paper they did filter out some light!, You can use the included clips or pins to fold them up manually which we did with 2 clips per blind as we cut them to fit the glass not the whole window.

These have literally been put up today, so if I find tomorrow they've unstuck, or something I'll update the review. First impressions though... Really good, I mean you have to remember we're working with just creased craft paper, with a sticky strip at the top, so there are limits to what you can expect, but yeah they're decent! Covering the main points: * The only light that seems to get past them is around the sides. Nothing seems to get through the blinds themselves. * The adhesive seemed to stick well, but despite that I was still able to *very* carefully unstick and restick one blind without leaving any residue and it restuck just fine. Can't say what it would have been like if these had been on for months though. * You *can* with a BIG pair of scissors, and a lot of brute strength and patience, cut through these whilst folded. Doing so will leave you with a rough slightly torn looking edge though, I didn't mind this as I liked the effect, but you might not. Maybe try a knife and a hard flat edge like a metal ruler instead if you want a perfect edge. * You can overlap these, but it's going to pretty obvious unless you want to spend ages taping them together, and then the tape will be obvious instead. I'd suggest instead just accepting you'll have obvious overlaps and trying to work with them to make them a feature, instead of hiding them. * The folds are obviously looser at the top and tighter at the bottom. I can already tell, that these will flatten over time, if not put up frequently. But they are just paper, not some miracle memory cloth and are sold as temporary. * The clips are flimsy and won't last long term. They struggle even to hold the blinds up. These are something you'd want to find alternatives for if you have something about to use instead. But they aren't so bad if you accept the limitations and goals of the product. I can see better clips pushing up the cost, making this less attractive as a temporary solution so it's an acceptable and understandable compromise. * I didn't use the pins, but they appear to be made out if things that pins are made out of, and appear to have a pointy bit. Application of the pointy bit to my finger made me say ouch, this leads me to believe that the pins would work as intended. * Other reviewers have mentioned an especially strong unpleasant smell. I didn't note anything like that. They do have a faint office cupboard/stationery shop kind of smell, but nothing that strong or offensive. I don't think people who've called them smelly are wrong though, as I suspect that may be something that could vary between batches, so you may get some smelly ones, but it's certainly not something that affects every box of these. * Yes if you would be happy to sit there trying to perfectly concertina fold, 6 long and wide paper strips of paper you could get at a craft store, these are expensive. For anyone else who recognises trying to perfectly concertina fold 6 long and wide strips of paper would be a massive pain and a huge waste of valued time and effort, then they are a bargain. If you accept that this is a product solely intended to do the job, well enough, just for now, they're great. If you're expecting more than that, you're going to be disappointed.

Instructions are easy to follow, just measure and cut. You need a really sharp pair of scissors or a Stanley knife. Easy to install would highly recommend.

I was a little dubious when I got these but thought it wasn't too expensive so why not! Well I have been surprised in a good way!! They are brilliant and just what we needed, instead of spending a lot of money which we don't have at the moment and the current heatwave these have been the best buy. The kitchen patio doors made it an oven but now it will stay reasonably cool and don't look too bad either!! Would recommended and they were easy to install what more could you ask for

I bought these in Oct 22 for front and back door as just moved in and couldn't afford usual blinds. Skip forward to Feb 24 and they are only just tatty and a little faded but they've done fantastic and I really liked to look so kept them up. As you concertina them up you have the full light during the day and drop them down at night and no pull strings and blinds flapping about everytine you upen the door. Removal was so easy, just used a hairdryer to warm the header sticky strip as I gently pulled, didn't leave any gunk behind. As they where a pack of 8 and I loved them so much I'm putting another 2 back up and Ive still got 2 to put away for next year. My only gripe would be could do with more clamps in the box as one or two broke through the year but I believe you can purchase these separately. I cant recommend these enough as a cheap but more than sufficient alternative to regular blinds.

If you clean the surface, these will stay up. If you DON'T clean your surface, they will fall down. Had these up for around 18 months now. Way beyond what they were intended for tbh. However, they've been great during these crazy sunny days - keeping most of the heat out. Provide good privacy, so you can romp around your lounge with them down and the lights on with no fear of being discovered. They go up so, so quickly. Simple to use. I bought plastic spring clips to hold them up higher than the supplied clips will allow - but then again - they're acting as full time window coverings as opposed to temporary blinds. Can't fault these for the price, ease of use and longevity of them. If you're dithering, just get them. We have black blinds and they're great. Probably going to replace them with white ones once (if) painting the lounge ever gets finished. Cheap, does the job, easy to use and to rise and lower. What a bloody GREAT idea!

These are brilliant! Bought for our new house while waiting for shutter blinds and they did the trick, so easy to stick on and do not fall down. We needed sticky stuff remover to get the glue off the glass but it’s better that than them falling down. Excellent value for money and they actually look ok from the outside too. (My mum thought they were our permanent blinds!)

Does the job . But one has lost the sticky so fell off . Not enough pegs given .

Meine Jalousie im Büro ist defekt und musste eingeschickt werden - ohne Beschattung sehe ich nichts am Bildschirm und es wird zu heiß im Büro - es musste also eine Übergangs-Lösung her. Gesucht und gefunden. Ich finde es sieht sogar richtig stylish aus. Habe bewusst Lücken gelassen, damit ich noch was sehe und es nicht völlig dunkel wird. Die Jalousien sind auch länger, ich habe unten die Klammern zum Verkürzen angebracht. Für meinen Zweck genau das richtige. Günstiger Preis, schnelle Lieferung, schnelle Montage, alles dabei, sogar Reinigungstücher für den Untergrund und Pins, falls man nicht kleben möchte oder kann. SUPER*****

Las cortinas son correctas pero no se ajusta el color

Joli mais pas résistant du tout. Se décolle très rapidement et vu le poids du store en se décollant il se déchire. J'ai du réparer avec de la bande adhésive.

L'effetto oscurante c'è così come la possibilità di regolarne l'altezza. Do tre stelle essenzialmente per il prezzo che, osservando il prodotto ora che l'ho in uso, forse è un po' eccessivo.
