Comfytemp Flexible Reusable Gel Ice Pack for Knee Replacement Surgery

I bought 2 of these ice packs as I was getting some knee pain in the vicinity of the medial meniscus (inner knee) in both knees. They were reasonably priced, well packaged and arrived quickly. I put them in the freezer for a couple of hours and they were very cold (as you would expect) when first applied. The cold was retained for a significant period, over 1 hour, and remained cold for some time after removal. They definitely gave some relief to my discomfort. However after 4 days, both ice packs started leaking gel from exactly the same place at the centre of the bottom edge. As an aside, I had previously noticed water dripping off both ice packs but this was just condensation from the humid air. I returned both packs, which was a pretty easy process via Amazon and they were picked up from my home by Royal Mail. The refund took longer than expected, nearly 2 weeks, even though the items were received back by Amazon within 2 days. I've given them only 1-star overall as I would have expected them to be much more durable. Lastly, one thing I have noticed is that the price of these items has gone up nearly GBP2.50 (17%) each in the last 3 weeks, so I have not purchased replacements!!

Leichte Handhabung, gut verarbeitet

The standard size Comfytemp Wrap states 'Offering complete coverage from the front to the back...this is incorrect. It may for some people with very slim legs. I am woman size 12 with I'd say average size legs and it was not complete coverafe. (Photos attached). I didn't order the XXL as i am a size 12, however once receiving this wrap and it not fit for purpose, I read all info on XXL. My complete knee; sides, back and front need to be iced due to multi ligament and meniscus damage. The XXL states it gives 360 coverage. For both women & men, Ideal for ligament/menisucus damage where the whole knee needs icing. So i have just ordered XXL... fingers crossed this is correctly advertised!

Tore my calf muscle and this has been a god send, adjustable straps to fit all size legs, it’s alot bigger than I thought which is great, initially said for knee but can be a multi use to actually strap on shoulder,arm,knee,leg etc, put into freezer and doesn’t take long to freeze and long lasting, it’s comfy and can walk around with it on or just rest, i been using it a few times a day for 20 mins and it’s helped ease my muscle injury well it’s helped it heal

Quite stiff material but can be moulded around the knee, although it takes a bit of practice working out how to use the velcro straps and smooth out the scrunching of the pack under it. Really only lasts about 30 minutes before losing temperature, but this is usually sufficient. Probably more convenient than a frozen bag of peas
