Switch your water off. You shouyld have a means to do this near your small water tank which is probably in your loft. Drain your system. Just a hose pipe on the drain taps on probably two of your downstairs rads. pop the F3 in your small tank in the loft and turn the water back o. remember to close ther rad draining taps first. You'll need to let the air out of your rads (bleed) when you drain and refill your system. Keep it in for a week and then drain the system to remove sludge. When you refill for the second time add F1 and leave it in. E.ON told me i needed a powerflush to sort out my boiler problems (£400) but a friend told me about this.
