Will it cover a dark red cotton corderoy?

It might but I think blue and red makes more of a deep purple

Will this dye sofa covers? Mine are turquoise/green and faded in the sun. Not sure what material they are, either polyester or cotton.

Hi Kate. I have used Dylon dyes for various items to give them a new lease of life. I've dyed towels, curtains, skirts and even rugs. I've used Dylon dyes for years, and the new machine pods are the best ever. I've dyed cotton, nylon, and polyester. I hope this helps.

I’ve got quite new washing machine and I’m a bit worried about it being stained by the navy dye. Is this generally a problem?

The Dye does leave a residue but Dylon recommend thoroughly cleaning after use and washing the machine thorough before doing another wash. This has cleared my washing machine and it doesn’t stay navy. If you follow the instructions that Dylon give it should be fine

Would this dye take to garden furniture cushion covers which are waterproof.

Probably not very well, as the waterproofing would prevent the dye penetrating the fibres properly. There are other dyes available on Amazon that are designed for outdoor fabrics.
