Β This is my first 3D printer so this took me a couple of days of researching to figure out the setup before it printed a model correctly from the internet. But they do have models in the micro SD card to get you printing out of the box. Keeping mind DIY kits will take days to build and configured properly before you print out the first model.I thought I share my experience in the video review to help you get started faster than I did.Tips:Heat the nozzle to 100% before printing. The printer can start with a partially heated nozzle, which is disastrous.Push the filament all the way to the nozzle first - you'll see the filament coming out of the heated nozzleBe generous with applying glue stick glue on the platform. It's worth getting the model stuck on the platform, otherwise it might fall off and you have to start all over again.Pros:It's a safe, contained unit - no exposed power supply - but don't touch the nozzle after printing it's 240C.Instone listens to their customers and fixes issues for future production. My printer will probably be improved by the time you buy yours after my feedback. Still I wasn't too happy being the guinea pig. But they offered excellent customer service answering my questions within 24 hours.Magnetic tray.Great quality prints for the priceCon:The filament hook is not strong enough to hold the filament reel. You'll need to buy a filament stand. The hook can hold 270g. The reel they provide is 375g.I found that the metal tray was off the platform when it was delivered. I used double sided tape to resolve it.
