Review: Super little books - At first I was disappointed with these books, they seemed rather old- fashioned and a bit dull. I remembered using them a lot when I first started teaching in the 1970's. However, my 3 year old granddaughter absolutely loves them and can tell the stories herself. She loves Miffy so much that I am going to buy a couple more while they are available. I hope they will be reprinted because even today they are still loved.

At first I was disappointed with these books, they seemed rather old- fashioned and a bit dull. I remembered using them a lot when I first started teaching in the 1970's. However, my 3 year old granddaughter absolutely loves them and can tell the stories herself. She loves Miffy so much that I am going to buy a couple more while they are available. I hope they will be reprinted because even today they are still loved.

I have my own full boxed set of Miffy - and I am a grandmother!! Miffy is a classic - who can resist not reading them out loud - especially if it is Miffy at The Gallery and you are at the Tate Britain!! I am building up a set for a young relative - he loves them. The first book - called just Miffy - is a bit non p.c. now - but pass over that one.
