I bought this for a friend for a birthday gift. It was a gift for her 21st birthday. She loved it. It’s very pretty and comes with a pen and it’s nice that it can be locked.

Love the journal. Setting the lock was easy. Opening it with my code is just as easy. The pages are great so you can date and number them. I used the pen for five pages and then the pen wouldn’t retract or go out any more. I’m a hard writer I know that could have had some effect, or it was a dud pen or not a good quality pen. So I took a pen I had and will use that. Not the end of the world the journal will go on. Edited after the review: adjusted the pen and it works fine I updated the stars to reflect. The one snag with the pen was my only reason for not giving it 5 stars in the beginning and now I’m like duh just readjust it.

Needed a small journal that could fit in my purse for work. Also needed it to lock to keep meeting notes and other personal things private. This met my expectations perfectly. It’s actually two separate pieces; a leather cover and journal. This works out if the journal ever gets full or worn out, it can be replaced by another of similar size. Since it is a cover, the inserts for the journal can function as a pocket for small papers. Quality is nice as well and it also comes with instructions on how to unlock and change passwords.

I purchased this for my 11 year old granddaughter as a gift. NEGATIVE- The lock will not allow you to reset the combo. When you follow the instructions they indicate, pull the lock to one side and move the numbers to your desired combo. Once you pull the lock to the side, the number dials do not move, thus you can’t reset combo. POSITIVE- Combo-I liked the idea of a combo lock better so she didn't have to keep track of the key that I know she would hidden so no one could read her secrets! :-) Packaging-A really nice box holds the journal Book & color-The book is very nice, the color is a very pretty light blue Pen-It's actually a heavier, nicer pen than I would have expected. I didn't write with it as she will first do so Lock-When opening the box, the book combo is set at 000, like most new combo items. However it didn't open first try. The instructions have in the first box steps to open it even set at 000 as this must happen regularly. After lining up the tiny lines, the book opened. My granddaughter was very excited it had a combo, however when we tried to reset-she must keep it at 000 defeating the extra $$ for a combo. Because it was a gift, it’s too late to return.

思っていた以上のが来ました！ ただ1個気になるのがノート開いた左側がロックがあるせいでものすごく書きにくいです。 とりあえず右側に全て書いてからノートひっくり返して書くとかしないと左はかけないかもしれません💦

Je cherchais un carnet petit format qui me permette d'écrire des pensées et des idées assurant la confidentialité de mes écrits. Ce produit est parfait pour mon besoin : solide, compact avec une petite serrure à code très pratique. Il est de bonne qualité avec sa couverture rigide, le stylo est très bien aussi, l'écriture est fluide. Il rentre parfaitement dans mon petit sac à main et je peux l'emmener partout. Les feuilles à l'intérieur sont lignées avec un petit encart pour la date et le grammage n'est ni trop faible ni trop fort.

This diary is a good size, plenty of pages and has a nice feel to it It has a very basic lock that would be pretty easy to get into if you were really determined but it does indeed act well enough as a deterrent, great for account emails and passwords

Muy lindo

I am surprised by the quality to be fair. Didn't expect much. I had initial difficulty with setting the personalized lock but then I realized you can just take off the black plastic frame that acts as a sort of door stopper for the very function to set your password. Hope this helps someone as instructions fail to mention this and seems to be packaging related. Fact it stumped me a good bit means I'll keep it on for extra security.
