Is the color 6-inch new version 1100 lumens? I want to make sure this new version is the updated 2022 brighter 1100 lumens version I saw on reddit

I believe that what you are referring to is a new slim fit light and that won’t work with an existing highhat. It’s meant for use in areas where a traditional highhat wouldn’t fit. Try searching slim downlight for comparison. I hope that this helps.

Do these work with in-wall LED dimming switches?

I have these. They don't work with my in-wall-mounted dimmer switch. I understood from the electrician that they won't work that way. You can call Philips to find out for sure if there's any way. Philips has good customer support that has helped me several times. I have their bulbs (with voice and app control) throughout the house.

When you turn these off they continue to glow. Is there a solution to this? If I turn the switch off it works but that defeats the purpose.

This was a known behavior and was a software issue, not an issue with wall switches or manufacturing. There was an over the air update that has fixed this.
