Just purchased this tool and couldn't resist giving it a go straight away. It is really good quality, and worth paying extra for something that is clearly going to last.

More expensive than other tools but works really well. I made a full 24 port patch panel and a few wall sockets and cable-to-cable couplers without an issue. One useful thing thing is that each blade has a cutting and non-cutting variant. I used a non-cutting one in cases where the cables were too short so I wouldn't have a second chance would something go wrong.

Very happy. I bought other cheaper ones and they slow me down so I decided I had to upgrade. This is brilliant and very robust. I am happy with my purchase

I've not used a tool of this type before, so have nothing to compare it with. However it does seem to do a decent job. Of the 66 individual connections I needed to make (8 network sockets and a phone socket) all worked first time. Cutting of the excess wire isn't 100% reliable (seems better with solid core than stranded), but works most of the time (certainly often enough to be a time saving over having to snip every wire with scissors). The only reason I'm dropping a star is the complete lack of instructions. Basic usage is obvious enough, but I've no clue what the different impact settings are for.

I bought a similar tool for about £2.50. It didn't last too well. It took quite some searching to find this good quality robust version. Most of what is listed is the cheap type. This works well, comes with a spare blade and the blades are reversible so that you can punch down without cutting. It's really not worth buying the cheap version unless you will use it only a handful of times.

Honestly can't say enough about this. I was trying to find a good quality bit of kit all over the internet even was looking at spending 5 times as much as well. The build quality on this is second to none. Doesn't crush the stands when terminating it doesn't cut them straight off but a quick flick up and down and they snap of perfectly. I would 110% be buying this again. Soild bit of kit.

Set up new network, made short work and much cleaner/faster A+++++ worth every penny.

Don't waste your money on any of the other punch down tools - they all appear to be made by the same manufacturer and are rubbish. I had two of the generic type before buying this TRENDnet type and the former were useless - trying to punch down patch panels and wall modules took an age and resulted in extremely poor connections, or no connections at all. After despairing of the time it was taking and the constant issues, failures and cuts and scrapes with the generic tool I splashed out and bought the TRENDnet tool. Fantastic! What a difference - chalk and cheese! Every connection was made first time and without trauma. This tool is a must if you intend doing any number of network connections.

Un bon produit pour celui ou celle qui s'amuse à faire des keystone notamment. Mais c'est vraiment un produit pour un bricoleur ou un professionnel

I previously bought a cheaper tool and It made my job a mess, and then Immediately I looked for another good tool which is not so expensive, this was the best fit and once it arrived I noticed it is a really good quality and well built tool. this helped me to complete my job easily. I would recommend this to anyone.

Vi otras ponchadoras con precios mas elevados, tambien vi algunas herramientas que no eran de impacto y que se recomendaban para trabajos de una sola ocasion. En mi caso estoy cableando mi red casera y no estaba seguro de querer gastarme el precio por una herramienta de impacto. Despues de ver algunas recomendaciones y videos acerca de las mismas me decidi por adquirir esta que esta en un rango de precio muy accesible. Mi idea era comprarla y posiblemente revenderla cuando mi instalacion acabara pues posiblemente no la vaya a usar frecuentemente despues de mi instalacion. Al recibirla me parecio una herramienta muy robusta, de buen peso, se siente muy solida. Viene con un par de puntas dobles aunque yo solo use la punta para terminales 110 y con la navaja de corte de cable al impacto. Nunca habia realizado el proceso de ponchado en mi vida, solo me guie por un par de videos y esta herramienta me soluciono la vida realizando el proceso de ponchado instantaneo y sin atascarse en el plastico de la terminal como en algunos videos de fallas comunes en el proceso mencionaban. 15 terminales instaladas en menos de 1 hora y todas pasaron las pruebas con la herramienta "tester" definitivamente voy a conservar esta herramienta, no pienso venderla y la recomiendo ampliamente si estas buscando algo bueno y en un rango accesible de precio. Yo use la configuracion de impacto en "LOW" y le di dos ciclos de ponchado a cada terminal (doble impacto), ya que era lo que recomendaban los expertos.
