Panasonic KX-TG6811EB Single DECT Cordless Telephone

Having moved to an old cottage with a 1970's BT master socket the phoneline was quite crackly. We were not sure if our old phone was contributing So we decided to buy a new phone and as like most people we don't use our home phone that often we didn't want to break the bank. Having read the reviews we plumped for these Panasonic's and were glad we did. Set up was very easy, charge it up for a few hours then plug it into the phone socket. The menus on the phone are all very straightforward and it was easy to navigate to change the ringtone and volume settings. ( I didn't even need the instruction book! ) The ringtones are nothing very original but loud enough to hear in another room with normal house noise but not so loud that you jump out your skin if you're sitting quietly reading a book. The phones also seem to improve the quality of the line and our calls are crackle free, which is especially important when listening to many companies hold music !! The numbers are bigger than other phones I have had which comes in handy when your eyes are nearing 40, the screen is very clear and displays the date and time. It does have a phone book if you want to store numbers if that's your thing, if you have the feature it will display the callers number but I refuse to pay BT any more then I only have to. It works well on hands-free which comes in handy whilst listening to hold music as you may want to make a cup of tea or knit a jumper!! I know there are lots of similar phones around at a similar price but this has all the features that I believe most would want from a home phone at a good price, therefore I recommend.

I had a pair of BT cordless phones which I took back because the signal kept cutting out and people were complaining about the quality of the sound. My friend recommended me these Panasonic phones instead so I decided to give them a try. So far I am very happy with this. The sound/speech quality performs well and I have had no comments or complaints about quality of the calls. I like the appearance and the design of the machines and the price point was good too. My one niggle is that you cant stand the phones upright - the base is slightly curved shaped to fit nicely into the charging base but it means that it is not possible to stand the phone on a table top say in the upright right position. Maybe I shouldn't be wanting to do that since it could easily topple over and perhaps become damaged - but my natural inclination is to want to stand the phone upright and I cant do that. If the designers should read this perhaps they will include it in a future iteration of the product. Apart from that minor niggle I would happy to recommend this product. NB. this is the version that doesn't have an answer machine included.

Great, works fine, plugged it into router as we're on Voice Over Internet. Clear sound. You can increase volume if caller seems quiet. Update: I bought this new phone when my old Panasonic base station died. It's good but I don't hear it ringing if I'm in the other room. Today it occurred to me that I might be able to pair the second handset from the old base station with this new phone. Yes, it works. So if you have an old Panasonic handset lying around, give it a try. The instructions are in the paper manual or online.

I purchased this phone for my mother who regularly uses the land line: PROs: 1. Clear display with time and date on rest mode. 2. Nice big buttons so very easy to use. 3. Good selection of ringtones. 4. Loudspeaker function really good and clear. 5. Found it pretty forward setting up. 6. Call register and other functions work fine. CONs: 1. The ringtone could be slightly louder, it is fine and if you haven't got really noisy family. I don't think it'll be an issue. But if you partially deaf grand parents then it might. Overall it's a good phone and would definitely recommend it for normal use at home.

Very easy to set up and using is fairly straightforward and intuitive. The sound, both on the phone and ringer is clear and the volume can be adjusted easily. They are not the most stylish phones on the market but actually their size (they are fairly tall) makes the controls on them clear and easy to use and the units themselves are slim so they don't feel heavy in your hand and they look quite smart as well. I haven't used the nuisance call block feature as yet but based on everything else I am sure that it will be straightforward to do so, and it's certainly a useful feature.Overall a good product which does the job it's intended for well at a reasonable price.

Being a 'Panasonic Collector' it could be misconstrued that I am bias towards this company, I will only rate things on their merit and these phones are superior to the ones I have just replaced. The outgoing ones that are no longer made were all whistles and bells whereas, these new ones are less so and far easier to set-up and use, I personally never use phones of any type to talk on - I only use SMS Text. However, I must admit these phones with their respective bases and cabling do have a cheap feel about them. The three charging units that plug into the wall are now no larger than a Three Pin Plug and no doubt will not last as long as the outgoing ones which are more solidly built and possibly last indefinitely for whoever buys them in the charity shop. Still must not complain about progress, but instead just see how they go. The company I bought the Panasonic Triple Phones Set KX-TG6813EB which were as described from 'UrboTurbo25' were exceptionally quick in getting them sent out to us so we would without any doubts recommend them to others.

Telefon gut, aber der Verkäufer schreibt im Angebot nichts daß die Netzteile nicht für Deutschland passen. Auch keine Adapter dabei, deshalb für den Verkäufer eigendlich 0 Sterne. Wir wollten es schon zurücksenden, gut das wir genau das gleiche Telefon vorher hatten, so haben wir die alten Netzteile wiederverwendet.

The telephone set works very well. But its power adapter and telephone extension cable are designed for the UK (the product is shipped from the UK). So here in North America, you need to buy a power plug adapter (UK to USA/Canada). You also need to buy a telephone cable with the proper type of plug for North America. For these reasons, I'm giving this product 4 stars.

Bonjour , Jusque là j'ai toujours été très satisfaite de mes commandes chez Amazon mais concernant ces téléphones j'avoue être très déçue ! Non seulement j'ai été obligée de commander à part 2 adaptateurs USA / FRANCE de plus les 2 câbles ne sont pas compatibles avec la base ??? Il va falloir également compter des frais de retour ... El producto está muy bien pero hay que tener en cuenta que es importado de Reino Unido y lo que eso conlleva. No supone ningún problema pero para que se sepa. Es necesario 3 adaptadores de enchufe inglés a europeo. El vendedor tuvo el detalle se mandarnos 1 gratis. El cable de línea telefónica incluido no vale, hay que comprar un cable RJ11 aquí. El idioma por defecto de los aparatos es inglés pero se puede cambiar a español. Las intrucciones están solo en inglés pero se pueden descargar de la web del fabricante en español. Como veis muchos pequeños detalles pero aun así este set de teléfonos es muy recomendable. Tienen muchas funcionalidades y un precio no demasiado alto.
