Applying more product will only make it worse. **Q: Is this dark black** A: It is organic and soaks into the beard over a few hours after application. It’s not a fake looking jet black like just for men - it’s more subtle. **Q: Doe you mix this with the hair dye or does it have to be done separate?** A: You do the organic base first, leave it for 30 mins, wash it off and then do the exact same with the dye. I found a mix of 1 part powder and 4 parts water works good for both.This stuff is really good, so much better for you than just for men. Not only does it work but it works great for me. Half an hour with the base and then half an hour with the dye and then a day later a perfectly natural looking beard.DO NOT WASH OFF THE DYE WITH HIT WATER. Ir states this in the instructions.
