100% absorbent. cork needs to be against drink, not table
yall are using them wrong. they are decorative coasters but the decoration is not the coaster! flip it cork side up for coaster function. let it evaporate when done or swap it out when it gets too full of condensation. after it dries/evaporates flip it back over for decoration mode. its not rocket science. one broke after it dropped off a table and it super glued decently enough back together and still in one piece months later. the cork holds back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back worth of drink condensation. you can pick it up and watch it drip. it 100% is absorbent. you cannot reasonably expect it to hold water if you dont flip it cork side up. go outside and pour water on a rock and let me know how that went for you.

Amazing a must have !!
I love these amazing quality I get a lot of compliments. PLEASE make these in square when you do let me know and I'll buy some more. I love them...I've used them for months and the quality is as the day I bought them..

Have held up well!
I have had this set for about a year and used almost daily. The design does not have any issues from drinks sweating on it. They are absorbent as well. They've been sturdy and have even stood up to my toddler's punishment. Good value!

My bf loved these. It’s retro and useful. Also I get my other coaster back since he stole them for his desk. Very good quality.

Not absorbent
Two of the four were damaged had chips out of them. It is actually a stone type material and has cork on the back. They are not absorbent. I returned them.

Cute, for sure. Hardy - you can knock them off the table and they survive. But you'll do that more often than you'd think. They absorb absolutely nothing, so when you pick up a sweating glass or can, the coaster comes with it, then falls off. Water collects on top of the coasters, sort of defeating the purpose. As cute additions, great! As usable coasters, not so much.
