what is the difference about auto and comfy mode?

Auto means the fan will turn off and on to maintain the set temperature. Comfy Mode means the system will be adjusted based on the parameters set. It might turn the system off or on, or adjust the temperature setting. Comfy mode is supposed to give the user more control. Kind of similar to how a Nest thermostat (or others like it) works.

Compared to plus the lite does not have "cielo linked" or "range control" function. what exactly do these to functions do?

Range control: This feature allows you to lock a temperature range of your choice. You can set a minimum and maximum value for your air conditioner to operate within. This can help save energy and can be very useful in some instances, such as in the case of vacation rentals. For example, if you are an Airbnb owner and are worried about guests cranking up the cooling all day. You can set a lock between 73 and 80 degrees. Users won't be able to set a temperature value below 73 or higher than 80. Cielo Linked: With this feature, you can link your central air (using Cielo Smart Thermostat) with a ductless air conditioner (using compatible Cielo smart AC controllers). Once linked, you can set automations for both to operate based on conditions of your choice. Apart from these two features, the Breez Plus has a display and on-device buttons. It can also be hardwired, and it comes with a table stand too. If your air conditioner has a 'Follow Me' mode, then that is also accessible from the Breez Plus.

Will I be able to use the original remote as well?

Yes you can use original remote and your cell phone to control it

What is the minimum cooling set point for this device?

The BTU size doesn’t matter. This item works perfectly for my window air conditioner.
