Review: Very effective but not budget - I bought these to use on a 4 sided leather strop to hone super steels like Elmax and Magnacut. 3 sides with reducing grit and the last as a pure leather, final hone. They work very well and you do not need much - there are YouTube videos demonstrating this but a few lines on a strop so all the leather just "wets" is all that is needed. It has given a final razor edge on multiple knives. Caveat .... you need to either have or regrind a proper bevel with stones before you use this. If you have softer steel/ carbon steel then save your money and use the cheaper and ubiquitous oxides.
