I haven't purchased an HP product in many, many years. To be frank, I stayed away. Lenovo was my brand of choice. When my husband's computer gave out, he he wanted but I didn't want to pay an arm and a leg for a computer to send email, surf the net and watch videos. Plugged in what he wanted and this one came up and it was so much cheaper than anything else on the market at the time. My husband has been using it for a month now and he loves it. Does everything pretty fast and it looks sharp. For the price and for everything you get for the price, I don't think you can find anything better out there at the moment.

This listing is extremely deceiving. It does not come with windows home. It comes with Windows S mode version it is just an over priced one sold at Walmart product. I would not ever recommend buying from the seller.

Very nice, a typical HP product. Comes with Window11s. Description claims 802.11ax but the laptop I got did not have 802.11ax, only supported 802.11a/b/g/n. Model number of the laptop I got was 15-DY2791wm, which is a Walmart level HP laptop. Possibly made specifically for and sold by Walmart. This should not make a difference, but just something to be aware of. Sometimes I have issues with my WIFI speeds with this laptop. Speed test showed really good 5G connectivity (250+ Mbps) and really bad 5G connectivity (<5 Mbps). Due to the nature of these machines, one does not know what they will get until they get it.

I bought this computer as I wanted something new, given my old computer was dying, and something inexpensive as I was going to be doing a lot of traveling and didn't want to have to worry if something happened to the computer. I have (almost) always been very happy with HP laptops. They are all I buy because of the affordability combined with reliability. Nothing special; they just do what you ask of them. This computer is exactly that. It has served me well as I work my way through the Balkans. It does what I need and is fast enough to run my data analytics programs. This is not a gaming computer. It is simply something that would work well for school, personal use, or work.

The OS is not compatible with the one described on the detail. Computer came with Windows 10 in S-Mode instead Windows 11 Home.

Initially I was disappointed because it would not come on at times the first 3 days, I took steps to send it back but then it started function normally. I am now very satisfied with the product.

I give this two stars because it works. I have had this computer for less than two weeks. I will be watching or doing something on it and the screen goes blank for a few seconds. It comes right back to the place I was at. This has happened too many times. This is what I get for $371. There was another computer for $20 or so more. I should have bought that one. Unfortunately I needed the computer quickly. It was not my internet or the battery. This has happened in a few different places. I will have to live will it but very, very disappointed. I hope the countdown to this computer's death has not already started. DO NOT BUY !!!!!!!!
