Unfortunately mine has stopped ringing when it times out. **Q: Can you set the timer to 5, 15, 25, etc., minutes?** A: My timer is marked up in 10..20..30... minutes etc., up to 120 minutes. This timer is mechanical, if set halfway between the 2 minute intervals then you'll receive a timing, perhaps near enough to the odd numerals of 5, 15, 25 minutes but not precisely exact. I practice 'old fashioned, wet, photographic processing' and I trust this timer well enough for that. Amazon market a similar, but electronic battery operated timer, this is marked in seconds and minutes, - I have and use both, just in case t'other one decides to take some 'time off' or a nap. The battery operated type though, I suggest is more suited to your requirements, just have batteries available ifthe one in the timer fails.
