Grippy enough to make me less likely to drop phone but not too much so it’s easy to take out of bag/pocket. Thin so it doesn’t make phone chunky. I haven’t dropped it yet but had a similar case on my previous phone which gave good protection. I didn’t use the screen protectors but bought some full coverage ones instead. I had the official Apple cover that I think was about £30 which was great but the edges all snapped off (had it for about a year and a half) This case fits FLUSH to your phone and is so slim that it feels like you don’t have a case on at all. It’s a tough, expensive-feeling plastic and I got it in the red colour, which is a proper red, like the side of a coke can in colour and finish. Only reason it doesn’t have 5 stars on ‘easy to hold’ is because the official Apple case was rubbery so it was a lot ‘grippier’, but this is still as grippy and a non-rubber, non-patterned case can be! Nice to hold and this colour really goes well with the RED iPhone backing.
