Holy Bible, Revised Standard Version

I like having different translations. This bible is easy-to-read and I enjoy the translation.

Print is small as others have said, but still perfectly readable. This is a reprint of the 1952 edition, as opposed to the Oxford Annotated which has the 1971 text. The book is a perfect size for holding in your hand. No in-text subject headings. Materials seem kind of cheap. Not sure how it will stand up to use over the years but seems perfectly acceptable. For those of you that care, this does not contain the Apocrypha. If you’re looking for that, take a look at the Oxford Annotated.

Covering very flimsy and print was smaller than expected. For the price you really can't go wrong.

I love the bold print which makes the Bible easy to read.

Disappointed in blurry print

i haven't actually physically received the bible in the mail yet but, i have read it online at biblegateway.com so, i can still comment on the quality of the translation. this RSV bible translation is very, very good. it still has bits and pieces of the old King James version in it but, for the most part, it's very easy to understand and if you read it slowly, it really does feel like God is speaking to you directly. i don't know about you ( as in generally speaking) but, when i read this version, i often find myself quietly mouthing the words as i read it. i would definitely get this bible. Side Note: most copies of this version of the bible are Catholic Edition and this one is the only one i could find that, i believe, is not C.E so, just wanted to make that known just in case.

There is nothing that I disliked with this product. I use it for study, prayer and meditation.

Don't get this version. It is very cheaply printed, the words and letters are smudged and hard to read, the paper is weak and tears easily, and the overall impression interferes with the timeless message of The Good Book. I donated mine to a local church to send overseas where someone with NO Bible can appreciate it, and bought a better quality version from the bricks-and-mortar store in my home town.

This is, along with some others, one of the highest books beneath Heaven.I have never read this book.

The best bible

This is my all time book. It gives me peace.

The font size is 10 point. So it's readable without glasses for me.
