Co-produced by Zack Odom and Kenneth Mount, Mayday Parades new self-titled album marks a return to the bands songwriting roots. The entire album was self-written in a collaborative e, ffort by the five band mates. This 12-song collection transpired through careful introspection and it echoes the musicians maturation over the two years since their second album, ANYWHERE BUT HERE.

I love this album, an improvement from their Kids In Love album I'd say they are back to their lyrical and instrumental best. You will not find a bad song on this album.

Being a fan of Emo style lyrics with thought and depth, this album is up there with the best. The melodic guitars tie in well with the emotion of the lyrics. Example "Oh Well Oh Well" with lyrics such as "So ill just smile, and make believe, I don't feel, That doesn't work for me". A truly top album and well worth a buy. A must for everyones music collection.
